    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: cheap,light weight, standard AAA batteries. Reasonable brightness - much better than a petzel etc, you'd pay a lot more for any brighter. The short lens arangement means it's not trying to fall forward off your head.

    Cons: Head band a bit tight for my big head; the beam pattern is not fantastic - the spot is not very spotty and the flood not very floody - but it's ok for every day. This is probably down to the short lens arrangemtn mentioned in the pros section!

    Other: Great for the price, blows Petzel out the water.
