Flood-to-Throw Zooming 3W 80-Lumen LED Flashlight (1*AA)

Pros: + As bright as Cree lamps in a same class + Compact size (length is 93 / 100 mm min./max. zoom) + Quite wide zoom range (see below) + Decent switch + Reasonable price + Uses 1xAA battery + No strobe or SOS modes + Has a real driver circuitry (which is visible inside) + Versatile lanyard + Tailstands (not very well when a key ring is installed but still)

Cons: - Moving part of the body feels loose. I doubt it is water resistant even it has o-rings on both threads. Looseness makes it feel cheap. Othe way machining looks ok. Some minor things: - No forward-clicky switch as in Romisen lamps - Only works with AA batteries - Single mode only - no "moon" mode with >10 hours of working time

Other: Basic zoom lamp. Quite ok.

Pros: Liked the harder to get at switch so it does not go on accidently as similar lights here may. Chrome ring may help with finding it in the dark compared to other black lights. Works about as well as other similar Zoom AA lights I own.

Cons: Does not say you can use a 14500 battery.

Other: Preferred light if you are worried about accidently turning it on in pocket/purse etc. Zoom feature allows it to compete with much bigger lights for distant objects like house numbers.
