Pros: Flashlight tactic very useful for police service, camping, biking and other outdoor activities. features that will zoom from 1x minutes 2000x thanks to a lens and a regulation system giratorio, located in front of the flashlight. the lighting is very powerful for a lantern that runs on AAA batteries. AAA batteries are easy to find and low cost, making this flashlight a better cost benefit of categoria.O zoom allows its distance cially in very effective. affordable for those who want a torch and cheap. that has great lighting both short distance and long distance to your system integration zoom progfressivo ranging from 1x up to 2000x.

Cons: Hard to find something bad in this flashlight. the equipment is very well designed and the material it is produced is very tough.

Other: very useful for police service, camping, scouting and other strenuous outdoor.

  • Wow!

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - Well-made, solid weight and feel
    - Powerful emitter
    - Uses common AAA batts
    - Zoom feature makes it more versatile than a fixed-beam light
    - No useless SOS mode
    - Good clicky

Cons: - Takes lots of twisting to go from throw to flood, unlike say, a M**Light
    - Previously-reported head wobble (though not a biggie to me)

Other: Couldn't be happier. This thing is a flamethrower compared to other lights I have that I thought were powerful.
I have since ordered 2 more lights from DX and I'm anxiously awaiting their arrival. One is a 2xRCR123 and the other a 1xRCR123. Those guys should put this one to shame, but this little jewel will still have a place in my heart. LOL.

  • Works as expected

posted by petpet on 16:03:50 G11T 20/11/2009 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: - 3 modes (Lo-Hi-Strobe)
    - uses cheap, common batteries
    - bright. Can bright up a small room.
    - good, even spot of light
    - flood-to-throw

    Cons: - does not tailstand
    - blueish white light
    - wobbling head, but easy to fix
    - strobe mode too bright and too fast to use on a bicycle

Other: great value for money. Floow-to-throw mechanism makes it possible to adjust to your needs.

  • GREAT small handheld flashlight

posted by ninjakami on 17:59:15 G1T 07/01/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - BLINDINGLY BRIGHT for a small handheld!
    - this flashlight is about 10x brighter than my $20 handheld size MAG light!
    - Very study metal body, most likely will be durable for a lifetime of heavy use!
    - Very nice finish coating.
    - Very attactive body design, makes it look like you spent a bundle on this flashlight!
    - Great Flood to throw option. With flood zoom you can point the flashlight on the ground and the light spot luminates the ground as if it were daytime! With the throw zoom it creates a concentrated light spot which luminates things that are very far!
    - Uses AAA batteries which are accessible to anyone at low cost vs the new cell types.
    - 3 modes can be changed by tapping the back switch half way without fully clicking the button.

Cons: - Flood to throw option a pain in the arse to use because you gotta turn the bottom portion of the flashlight a gajillion times to zoom the light concentration from flood to throw.
    - Clicky button is on the back and with the length of the flashlight, it is a little bit difficult for larger hands to press it comfortably. (But its not the end of the world! Very small thing, just my preference!)

Other: - Very bright small handheld flashlight.
    - Fantastic for camping or hiking or whatever you want to use it for.
    - At this price buy it! I bought 2 one for me and one for a gift and it was a fantastic gift!

  • Good flashlight, but zoom is very flimsy

posted by adisx on 06:05:46 G2T 04/02/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Strong enough and very flat light, 3 modes including flashing. Good quality of not movable parts and exterior finish. Nice feel in the hand - not too big, not too small.

Cons: VERY flimsy zoom part.So flimmsy, that can be used without supporting by hand in any other positions as min or max. Very long distance between maximum and minimum zoom - you must twist(rotate) zoom part about 1500° to zoom from min to max.

Other: Buy, if you need flat, really white flashlight, but do not expect so usefull zoom as in promotion.

  • The ultimate 10 buck flashlight

posted by dennisschemkes on 11:34:04 G2T 18/02/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Pros: Strong enough and 3 modes including flashing. I dropped this flashlight when i was working under my car and it still works it is really durable. It feels like a very expensive light torch or flashlight.

Cons: The zoom takes time to get use to but it's zooming capablites are very good.

Other: Buy it and you will know you made a great investment if you are a mechanic or a diy specialist or a hiker it is a great compact powerful light.

  • Finaly Got it - Good Customer Support

    posted by prateek4 on 12:53:12 G3T 27/03/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: DX support is good, I did not get it when it was shipped first, I dont know how or where it lost in transit or it went back to DX or not since it never came when i first order on 09-24-2009, but after asking them ealier .. they agreed to it and send me another, now i got it. Thanks DX Support Staff :-) thank you!! Received it just now .. today. It takes 2 Full weeks for an order to read from HK to New Delhi. well thats so time lag man. As for the light is good, comes in a nice shipping box, and bubble envelope. Light is bright using Soshine AAA [sku.26987] but not as bright RC-C6 on lithum. The Zoom mode is a very important feature of this flashlight thats why people buy this one, it works good but you have to move it round it round it round it why so long turning radius. I can see the light in far mode / throw mode to 150meters or may be a bit more not sure.

    Cons: read above

Other: There are some other lights that you can buy as well, like People Cree is a nice looking with stell look but only 1 mode throw. if you want a flood-to-thorw buy some romisen c-6 or a 18650 one. if you want primary cell baded light buy RC-G2/N3 with 2*AA option.

  • SUPER BRIGHT HANDHELD LIGHT

posted by ninjakami on 15:41:00 G4T 10/04/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: - cheap Cheap CHEAP!!!! - VERY BRIGHT for a 100 lumen LED. - Feels very solid in your hand (Well built) - Good rubber clicky switch at the rear. Can switch between modes with a half click without actually having to click the flashlight off and on everytime. - Throw option concentrates the light beam into a small spot that luminates brightly even from 100 yards allowing you to see very far! - Flood option is fantastic and luminates a wide area nicely great for walking around dark campsites! - Good finish and attractive body. - Assault crown look nice, not sure if its of any use. - Uses 3x AAA instead of other batteries like 18650 that are not obtainable in normal stores. - Great on battery life even with AAA.

Cons: - Comes with 3 modes, I would have liked it with just one mode at its brightest. The 3rd mode is a strobe light which is just blindingly annoying and I have no idea when you would actually need a strobe light unless you own a night club and you're too cheap to rent strobe equiptment. But thats just my opinion! =) - The Flood to throw transitional mechanism is very sub par. In order to change from flood to throw you gotta twist the head piece a billion times! - Also if you are not either on max throw or max flood the flashlight will feel kinda flimsy and wobbly if you choose to keep it at a specific zoom range in the middle.

Other: - Absolutely fantastic little flashlight with optimal lumination at a very very reasonable price! BUY IT NOW! YOU DEFINATELY WILL NOT BE DISSAPOINTED!

  • Strong, well built but....

posted by skubko on 07:39:09 G5T 06/05/2010 certificated customer

Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

Pros: Really strong light, well built body. 3 modes are fine. It is smallest and strongest flashlight I have ever had.

Cons: Zooming to fold and back takes loooong time until it is complete. The biggest con I have is that after one day of using I lost the possibility to fold the light. The reason is funny but sad as well - I zoomed it, twisted it only lightly till the end. Then, the next day I was not able to unzoom it because it got stuck so tight that even with using tools, we did not manage to untwist it back :(

Other: Great product but be careful not to twist it till the end as it can get stuck and you will not be able to untwist it back...
