Pros: Works very well. Small and handy. Good build quality. Easy to adjust brightness (on the top of the battery pack). Easy to adjust focus (on the bottom of the lamp). Nice on/off button (on the top of the lamp). The lamp can tilt 30°, 60° and 90° down. The back of the battery pack is soft rubber. A little hard to get off, easy to get on, and doesn't break easily. Uses standard AAA batteries (alkaline or Ni-MH).
Cons: Focus could be a little better. It would be nice if the battery pack had metal reinforcement where the headband is connected to it. Plastic can break when the going gets tough.
Other: This is a sweet little lamp which works very well in the field. It's a little pricey compared to many of the other DX-headlamps, but both the adjustable focus and adjustable brightness is worth it, I think.

Pros: One of the best affordable head lights. Overall good quality. Easy to use and change the batteries. Analog Adjust of light power output. Rather small led case and robust except inclination mechanism
Cons: Maybe the inclination mechanism will fail after some time. Focused beam is not even but does its job pretty good after all
Other: Would recommend it for its price!!! outdoor use for sure and in-car must have!!!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Its quite a descent light for the price. It has adjustable spill, although it could allow for more flood and when set to max throw it's suddenly square. It has adjustable brightness. It has a good heatsink for the LED, so it only gets warm on full brightness - not scorching hot! Impressive run-time on lowest setting, 17-18 hours on GP recyco 800mAh batteries from DX! Only just over 2 hours on higest setting though.
Cons: Not water proof, the battery pack is probably rain proof, but the light itself will probably leak sooner or later. The screw to adjust and secure the flood/throw setting fell off on my light - the threads in the light itself came out with the screw. Also the screw could never be tightened to secure the position.
Other: If you dont need 100% waterproofness, then its a great light. Apart from the screw issue build quality seems very good.

Pros: Did I say this light is bright? Nice construction on the light. I like the ability to adjust the light intensity. I don't have a meter to measure the lumens, but the output sure looks like 130 lumens to me. I like the simple on/off switch. I find it a pain having to toggle through multiple settings.
Cons: If you want to get picky. The Lamp housing doesn't sit flush with the main body when in the retracted. The main pivot fitting on the lamp housing is a little loose so you will find it will have a little wobble to it.
Other: For the price I don't think you can go wrong.

Pros: Very bright headlamp, if you focus the beam and put it on full power, it's actually too bright for nearby indoor use. Feels very comfy and balanced when you put carry it on your head. Works perfectly on regular AAA batteries.
Cons: I have no idea if it is waterproof.
Other: Very good price / quality ratio. Very bright for such a small headlamp.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: The dimmer and the zoom are easy to use and very intuitive. With maximum strength and maximum zoom you can very well see a person 300 feet away, with the minimum strength and minimum zoom you can read or cook very comfortably. The feel of the light on your head is very convenient. The on/off switch works smoothly. The build quality is excellent.
Cons: none
Other: Great quality A perfect tool for the outdoors or . Not very cheap but well worth the price. A Great buy.

Pros: -This is by far the brightest and most useful headlight I have ever seen/used -The build quality is very good -the controls are easy to use and understand -It's really bright and is very light and balanced as the batteries are mounted behind your head. This keeps the front very light so it doesn't flop around as you move
Cons: None
Other: -If you need a headlight buy this one. I have several others as I do a lot of night fishing and this is by far my favorite
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Some good Pros with this headlamp:
- The variable dimmer on the rear battery compartment is a useful feature. Being able to adjust the brightness, especially with gloves on, makes this a stand-out feature.
- The zoom feature of lens is nice. Changing from a flood to a zoom is easy.
- Nice to see no third strap over the top of the head like other headlamps....makes the headlamp useful on a helmet.
- Battery life with 3 x AAA Eneloops is quite good.
Cons: Some minor observations which could be fixed (expected to some degree with these purchases):
- The lens section tilt is too coarse for a helmet-mounted light at 30 degrees per notch. The light is displayed either too high or too low for a medium distance work area.
- The lead from battery compartment to the lens section is a little on the weak side for my liking. Damage may occur if objects snag it eg ear muffs etc.
Other: A nice small headlamp with features that aren't found on many other lights in the same category.
Worth buying if needing an headlamp that is flexible in its' workable area and light output.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Very bright and incredibly cheap. Long life if dialed down and pretty good if on full power most of the time too. The ability to spot and flood is sensational and will be appreciated long after you forget that you can't do this with a normal headlamp.
Less than a third the cost of a similar product and VERY similar performance. I know. I've tested them head to head.
Cons: The zoom/flood adjustment lever can be screwed off. If you lose it... you might regret it. Pivot pin is a little fragile. Don't be rough handling your beam up and down. You've been warned. Don't say that nobody mentioned it.
Other: Get one of these to make people who used to be happy with their own head torches, less so. A friend of mine has abandoned his trusty Petzl due to lumen envy.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Godd light, good build quality, good use.
It is not the lighter one, it does not have the biggest lifetime...
BUT!
It has a regulator, so you can make it act as you wish!
U can increase it light traveling in the deep forest in the middle of the night or set it to the low then you sit at the camp near the fireplace with your friends.
The most great thing of this headlamp is regulated output.
The second great thing is - it CAN produce more light then you ever need.
Cons: Not actually.
The plastic case for batteries not as good as may be but it does not matter much.
Other: The best headlamp I ever use.
If you sometime need really good light do not buy cheap headlamps. Take this one. With regulator setted to the low position it will live the same time as chipper ones but if you will need good light - you only need to turn regulator and you will get it!
