Pros: First, let's look at the main feature.
This light has movable optics, so that you can focus the light easily.
Usually, a compromise has to be made between flood and throw, but not with this light. You can adjust it as per the need.
This has become my favourite cheap light due to this single reason.

Cons: The threads are pathetic. I cannot describe in words how much they squeek when I have to replace the batteries.
Dx really needs to lube the threads before shipping them out.
There is also a fair amount of play

Other: Get this light and throw it in the car's glovebox. It is versatile enough to light both near and far away objects

Pros: This light has very Good optics, a powerful focusable beam,and a very good price.
A very small and powerful light that for short term use should do an excellent job. Best price I found for an adjustable glass optics led light.

Cons: The adjustment for the beam width is very clumsy. It does not slide smoothly or hold its setting firmly enough. The beam setting can be to easily moved by accident. Also the battery compartment has a lot of play around the width of the battery. At first I thought that it was for either a C cell or 3 AAA's but missing the battery holder. A sleeve would have solved this problem.

Other: A few inexpensive improvements would make this a terrific item
