Flying Helicopter Alarm Clock

Pros: - Really flies and makes you get up
- 8 options for alarm tunes
- Overall beautiful design

Cons: - The small helicopter doesn't fit too well on its top
- Because it doesn't fit well, it vibrates A LOT when it flies. The vibration is enough to wake me up by itself

Other: The helicopter could fit better, but it's nice anyway... I'm still thinking on some way to make it not vibrate so much.

Pros: - It's a fun novelty.
- Flies pretty high.

Cons: - The alarm / time controls are terrible. It took me forever to figure out how to set the alarm. The "alarm set" button only works when you are configuring the alarm time, by the way.
- The LCD is hard to read: it's quite dim.
- The LCD backlight blinks annoyingly whenever you press buttons.
- The buttons are not responsive.
- There is no volume control.
- The build quality is not great. The plastic bit that spins the rotor came right off the second time I activated the helicopter: I glued it back on and it's OK now.
- DealExtreme's shipping is bad for fragile items, and the shaft connecting the little helicopter to its rotor was bent on arrival.
- It flies up quite high when the alarm goes off, and can easily damage your ceiling.

Other: It's a fun novelty, and I didn't expect it to replace my clock radio. It was what I expected, which is why I say it's good value.

Pros: -The alarm clock works well, althoug some modifications can be made. (see other thougts)
-The alarm is loud and irritating which is a good thing (so you do wake up)
-The display can be set to another colour.
-It has a demo fly button, so you can test/play with it whithout setting the alarm every time you want a flight...

Cons: - the manual is a bit poor, but pushing some buttons and you wil find out how it works.
- the chopper/helicopter lifts sraight up and wil hit the ceiling and falls then straight down (not hard to search, but see other toughts)

Other: - good product
- good price
- good quality (by price)

The clock is very nice..
I had a big problem waking up from bed on the morning..
but now.. i can't stay down.. or i go crazy cause this clock, lol
so its perfect for me, lol
Its not very cheap, but if you willing to pay.. it worths!

Cons: By the cons... price is a bit expensive..
quality should be a bit better for this price..
MANUAL is shit.. took me a while to figure it out..
You gonna need some time to set it all up for the first time.. since the manual doesn't help on that at all.. but on the end, after you manage it, it works fine!

Other: Go go go!

Pros: This is a really nice alarm clock once you get use to it. Reading the instruction manual isn't too hard to understand. I find it useful since my other alarm clock sat at the edge of my bed and to turn it off I didn't even need to get out of bed, this one makes you get out, navigate around your room half asleep, and then find the darn thing (but it just flies up and then right back down). Not too hard to find, but half asleep sometimes you close your eyes and its gone. I also like the ring tone, its Happy Birthday. ITS MY BIRTHDAY, EVERY DAY!

Cons: The helicopter didn't exactly fit in the base, but a bit of trimming the feet with a knife and it was fine. Not really a con, but there is only like 7 ring tones and only Happy Birthday is the best I feel, you may be different. 15$ is a bit but eh, its fine.

Other: Get it if you have a hard time getting up in the morning

Pros: It's a rlly cool item to use wich would solve my problem in the morning. if it would work...

Cons: It worked about 10 minutes, it flew 1 time, but then it didn't do anything anymore. i pulled out the batteries, replaced them etc. nothing helped. The screen didn't even light up anymore... Also, when i removed the protection from the LCD, some of the plastic fell off. They used double sided tape to stick it to the clock >.< So the build quality ain't that good either.

Other: Don't buy, wait for a 2nd gen maybe.

Pros: - It flies very hight
- It has many alarm melodies (some Russian melodies included)
- Speaker sound is very lowd

Cons: - Poor quality of assembling
- Buttons are not sensetive
- Sometimes I can't stop alarm by putting back helicopter, I must remove batteries to reset device (quality of fliing mechanism is poor)
- Rather strange manual with some factic errors, but device programming is intuitive and very simple, you can understand it without manual.

Other: Rather useful thing, but if it would work properly.

Pros: Fulfill the purpouce of the buy. Will wake you up for sure. Nice idea and well made. Helicopter fly far away from the clock so for sure you wull spend at least a minute to serach it. Enought to wake up and not retun into bed.

Cons: The plastic helicopter will brake after few months of use. Do not have DC jack. Only work on batteries.

Other: Use it for funny gift to a non morning person birthday. You will have lots of fun with this clock.
