Pros: Really works as mentionned. The images are acceptable for this type of cam. The night vision is correct. You can pilot it from your browser very easily. The alarm works well, very sensible.

Cons: Hard to setup. The ActiveX never starts in IE. The sound is not clear.

Cons: Ainda não estou confiante de deixá-la online pela WEB. Tenho dúvidas quanto a segurança no acesso.

Other: O custo/benefício é muito bom.

Pros: Works well and easily out of the box. The cd delivered is not needed, just scan your network and connect to the right ip (like 192.168.1.10:81) and port (standard port 81). The whole setup is pretty self explanatory. You are presented with a logical website to control the beast. WLAn and cable both work fine. Control of view through the browser is good to, wide turning angle. Is recognized by Synology Surveillance Station (DSM 4.2), use FOSCAM FI8918W or similar in the settings menu. Image quality is adequate, by night fairly clear as well sufficient for its purpose. I might even say the infrared gives really a lot light in the dark.

Cons: The blinking led on the front is distracting. Just paint it black. The infrared leds are quite visible as well, which draws the attention of kids trying to sleep. Once they get used to it, it is ok. Otherwise, it just works, no problems.
