Full Range Car FM Transmitter and Charging Dock with Remote for iPod/iPhone

Pros: Excellent product for listening to podcasts in the car. Has digital tuner that I set to a vacant spot on the radio and I get very clear sound. Turns on at the press of a button and remembers the setting. Charges the phone while plugged in and don't need to worry about batteries for the FM transmitter. Comes with a cute little remote but it is not really needed.

Cons: Could use some improvements though - the holder does not hold the phone tight but I keep it at an angle and it is fine. When iPhone is put in, it covers the FM freq display. Also, if the connector was fixed in the cradle, it would be easier to put the phone in and take it out. None of these are too big a deal though.

Other: Can't beat the quality and convenience at this price.

- Has 3.5mm input for MP3 player or other device.

Cons: - Doesn't hold IPOD securely, can add rubber band to fix or modify foam on holder.
- Remote does not have a display.
- Gets a little static, from time to time, but you really only notice it if you are really listening for it.

Other: Buy it if you have the classic ipod.
I saw this item on another site and was reported to be low powered it is not the case - plenty of sound. Good frequency response as well.

Pros: The price. This was SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than many other stores locally and online. It's rather compact as well, and works. This is excellent for listening to your device in the car on the go.

Cons: Gets staticy at times... It doesn't hold the ipod/iphone/iWhatever you have connected very securely.

Other: For the price and convenience, this transmitter is excellent for anyone in need of such a device.

Pros: This little ipod transmitter for your car is excellent! I was a little skeptical at first, but this quite effective. I bought several of these as gifts for friends, they love them, they had a great Christmas!

Pros: this unit works flawlessly-- took about two minutes to set it up and I was off cruising listening to the music off my iPhone with the windows down. The remote control is a nice addition but not all that practical really-- I may be used it three or four times in the last four months

Other: the build quality seems to be pretty good as long as no one sits on the thing LOL before I purchased it,I looked at all of the different models on here but I am glad I purchased this one

Pros: 1. Transmits signals very well. Compared with another gadget which had so much distortion that you just had to throw it away. 2. There is an adjustment knob at the back which allows you to tighten and fix the angle of the gadget. 3. I have tried it on a IPHONE 3GS - it is able to charge and play from the ipod function !!! 4. Some other similar gadgets selling for 3 times the price here and probably do not work as well. 5. Now i remember there is also a USB port as well as a MP3 line in port. Never use the MP3 line in as i have the ipod. USB port - see under cons

Cons: 1. the Mounting pad thou adjustable from the 2 sides is not secure enough. Ipod Classic(which I have been using) is still alright. But iphone will slip out quite easily cos the the "base" does not come up/long enough to hold the iphone. You have to add a elastic band or something else to secure it. 2. the "neck" is a bit too short for my HONDA STREAM, thus the pad cannot be tilt back far enough for better holding. An adjustable length neck will be better. 3. Mine is black color. I think there was no white color then. Or even now?? White will look classier thou black is stain resistant. 4. USB port - After i gotten the iphone , i tried with both the iphone usb charging cable and the ipod usb charging cable. BOTH FAILED to charge the iphone. SO it should be that the usb should be an IN port. But never tested it with any thumbdrive. Others may have written/ tried it but i dont know.

Other: BUy this if you do not have a ipod cable/adaptor to your head unit. Doubles up as a Car charger as well.

Pros: Its works just fine, the signal strength is good and so is the sound quality. AND: Its charges my Iphone 3GS.

Cons: -It is not suitable for every car: its depence on the cigarette ligher place: on Toyota corolla 2001 its not fit because the cigarette ligher socket placed too low. in other hand, for other cars its fit well. -I cant use it as a Handsfree..for some reason when I make a call the sound is off. -the stand of the iphone isnt perfect but its ok... when the road is bumpy I affraid it will fall of..

Pros: - Good sound quality, this one is not chopping bass like other cheapest transmitter
- Works with iPod/iPhone (apple plug) and with any mp3 player with the audio-in port
- Dock is rock solid, there's no chance your iPod/iPhone falls, and it fits very well in my cigarette lighter.

Cons: - Can't manage to make the remote working, wich is really a shame... When locked in the dock my iPod Touch 3 hides the remote receiver...

Other: I ordered several different FM transmitters (here or elsewhere) and this one has easily the best sound quality, and it keeps your iPod from floating around each turn you take.

Pros: Very happy over-all with the dock, the price was right and it works great.

Cons: The remote didn’t work at all right out of the package, I changed the battery and still no luck. It’s not a big deal for me because the I-Pod is within easy reach.

Other: I have ordered several times through DealExtreme and for the most part I have gotten what I paid for and will continue to buy from them.

Cons: The change of my car is very close to the starter, there is little flexibility in the machine. Hinders to change gear.
