Full Range Car FM Transmitter with LCD for iPod/iPhone 2G/3G/3GS

Pros: - FM transmitting allows you to choose ANY FM station.
- Transmitter glows and is powered by your iPhone (or car) so no batteries to worry about.
- Transmitter is very clear and much better than transmitters that plug into headphone jacks.

Cons: - When transmitting while plugged into the car charger, there is a CLICKING/BEEPING noise that INTERFERES WITH THE TRANSMITTING.
- Charging cable does not plug in smoothly, is cheap and poor quality.
- My charging cable already has to be held on a certain angle to maintain the charge, after owning for only a day.

Other: Adding the charger to the FM transmitter was a good idea, but it feels like it was an afterthought and is poorly designed and implemented. Charging interferes with the FM transmission making it very unpleasant to listen to.
This is good for EITHER charging or FM transmitting, but NOT BOTH at the same time.

Pros: - Works as expected. You just plug it into the USB car adaptor, and then plug it into your iPhone. Choose a frequency (or leave it as is), tune your radio, and away you go.
- Sound quality is fine for audio books and podcasts. Not tried it with music.

Cons: - Sound level is a little low - you need to turn the car stereo up quite a bit
- Because the stereo level is high, when you are removing the item it makes a loud bumping sound (but that's ok)

Other: Excellent for the money. Very easy to use. I'm very happy with this purchase.
