Full Replacement Housing Case with Buttons for PSP 1000 (White)

Pros: Case looks nice. :D The top is actually glossy, and not satin like the title says. (Like the original PSP case) The back is satin, just like the original case. The buttons look nice, very close to the original.

Cons: The case requires modifications to work properly. For example, the headphone jack wouldn't fit until I filed down the hole so it would fit. The d-pad isn't full size. It requires extra pushing for button presses to register. The button bar buttons (Home, Volume, etc) break easily. I had them break in two places. They don't affect the usability of them, but it's an annoyance. The d-pad side of the case, along with the UMD door don't fit properly. I had to squeeze the left side of the case closed while screwing it for the case to fit properly. The UMD door's bottom doesn't fit properly, and there's a gap in it. Because it doesn't fit properly, UMD's are extremely loud. (Not like I use them anyway, since it's modded)

Pros: Great housing case, i´ve installed following an internet video and now that is installed looks very nice.

Cons: Maybe you will have to remove some plastic in one or two screw holes. But is an easy task with a thin screwdriver.

Other: Excelente price/quality ratio. The housing case is made of very fine materials and is terminated like the original. I totally recommend it.

Pros: - the price is great for a full housing replacement. - the buttons look nice a glossy like the original and seem to fit nicely.

Cons: - the faceplate doesn't seem to fit on correctly because when you put it on the menu bar of buttons seem to be to big, and stay pressed in when you screw it on. - i dont know if this if for everybody but my faceplate screen seems to be gridded, which is unacceptable for me. (thank god i had a clear faceplate to put on it that doesn't look to bad.) - The screen area seems to be off centered too -the memory stick door doesnt seem to fit properly. - the umd door open switch feels cheap

Other: For this cheap price i think it is a good buy. i recommend you have some technology experience when you attempt this. ( you have to take all the components out of you psp and disconnect most of them from the motherboard so if you mess up, well..... you might seriously mess up your psp.)

Pros: -new casing have all elements [besides bumpers and analog] - even power button,wifi ect.

Cons: - it came with schrached umd back panel - some screw holes were covered with plastic - there's a diffrence in material [orginal casing/this one] - the plastic and buttons feels cheap

Other: If you like taking things apart and reasamble them /you have badly damaged psp casing, or you have a girlfriend that want to change her psp color and you just want to impress her - it's perfect for you.
