Full Replacement Housing for NDS (Red)

Pros: Comes with almost everything you need to install it onto your DS.

Cons: Doesn't come with parts for the hinge, so you have to use ones from your DS. The holes for the hinge parts are really small and take a lot of working to get the pieces in and set properly. Box shows it coming with a screw driver, but it doesn't.

Other: Not to bad of a product, but some problems (mainly the hinge) decrease the quality of the product.

Pros: Perfect if you need to fix a broken unit. Came with more than I expected for a case replacement. Buttons, D-pad, nameplate for the top, a new serial number sticker for the bottom and even a replacement stylus.

Cons: Slight imperfections in the case. Nothing that hinders use though.

Other: It did the job and made the unit look like new. Very pleased.

Pros: repaire broken hinge or make ur ds look diffrent

Cons: case has to be filed to fit proper

Cons: The build quality is OK, I had slight problems fitting it all together.
It's not easy to assemble this, I used a guide found on youtube.

Other: If your DS is broken or you would like a fancy new color, get this! Can't beat the price

Pros: Good build quality. Only close examination would give it away as not being an official Nintendo product. It even comes with a fake serial number sticker to adhere to the back. Comes with lots of parts including buttons and d-pad as well as "nintendo" sticker for top of case. Very convincing.

Cons: Build quality ain't perfect and feels a bit flimsy around slot 2. Case does not fit flush together and some edges need sanding down. Tried to use original DS shoulder buttons but they would get stuck so had to switch to buttons included with case and all was well once more... only the included buttons don't feel as sturdy as the originals. Hinge barrels are missing and must be taken from original case in order for hinge to work. These barrels are a pain in the butt to remove and put back in. Took me 2 hours to do so. This is not an easy mod for noobs. "Nintendo" logo sticker for top of case looks rather hoopty, but then again what do you expect from a knock off. No screw driver included as pictured on the box.

Other: Awesome price for a solid product. My DS phat never looked better and it will keep me from upgrading to a DS lite just a little longer.

Pros: It repairs broken hinges, and looks like the real deal. Comes with screws buttons pads, and s serial number sticker. The quality of the plastic is good, and it can withstand some abuse from my kids. Buttons fit well.

Cons: The nintendo sticker on the front looks a little crappy, and you have to file a little plastic off to get the lid on. No instructions included. The l and r buttons are a tad harder to press. I kept all my oem buttons because my hinge was broken, not the buttons.

Other: A great cheap replacement. All my freinds thought i bought a new DS.

Pros: - Sturdy case, good enough for its use
- Without looking at minor details, almost looks like the real thing
- Comes with replacement buttons, rubber pads for the buttons, etc

Cons: - Does NOT come with: Two metal hinges, volume control slider, instruction manual
- Parts need to be sandpapered down to fit, especially around the hinges and the small slit you feed the VERY FRAGILE bottom screen ribbon through
- Plastic can bulge at certain spots (namely the top half) if you screw in the nails too deep
- Bad looking "Nintendo" sticker for the front

Other: Broken hinges? Scratched up DS case? Go for it. Good stuff for the price.
Have PATIENCE while doing this.

Pros: it is very nice to have such a cheap replacement case, expecialy for all us unlucky folk with the famed "broken hinge" that seems to happen to just about every original phat ds eventualy. not a bad red coulor, but a tad dull. also come with some spare buttons/screws etc. which is a nice touch.

Cons: made from very, very cheap plastic. would be very easy to break, im sure these hinges arent going to last long. the case is also cheaply moulded and doesnt quite fit alot of the more intricate parts of the phat ds, you may very well fing yourself grinding away and otherwise modding the case just to fit.

Other: very badly made but it does do its job and is very cheap.

Pros: the price is great,this came with everything i needed to replace my sons broken case.the build quality is good gives it a bit of a retro feel. for my first time ever to do this i found it realy easy all parts fitted great, when finished you have the look of a brand new item

Other: you got a broken one your gonna need one of these and the end result will light up any childs face.

Pros: Great price. Makes your tired and scratch DS look like new! Comes with all the bits you need to replace the case on your DS, even screws. Pretty easy to install, just watch for those little flexible cables, and take your time.
I used LCD screen cleaner on the DS screens when I had the DS apart, it helps make the DS look more like a new one when you fit the new case as you can clean the screens where you normally would have trouble getting to certain parts.

Cons: The build quality is a litle below average, at least on the casing I bought. The castings seems a bit rough here and there, but then I am pretty picky about these things.

Other: Great price, a little rough in the casting here and there, but at the price what more do you want?
