FW50 Compatible 7.2V 1020mAh Replacement Battery Pack for Sony NEX-5C/NEX-3CV/A55/A33

Pros: Ok, I've just received it. Charged it for a few hours in standard NEX battery charger. It didn't overheat which is good - just became a little warm. Then installed it into NEX-5 camera and made a few shots with it - it is still on 100% charge as expected. I don't know yet how long does it last - just wanted to point out that it works and camera doesn't blow up.

Cons: Nothing bad so far

Other: Overall - it works with sony nex-5 camera

Pros: Charges with no problems with Sony's original charger.
Works just like original battery.
Works with Sony NEX-5 camera.
Prize is excellent compared to original battery (80€).
Looks even better than the original battery. Blue line makes it look professinal.

Cons: Nothing. As good as the original battery.

Other: Wonder if anybody buys the original battery. This is just as fine. Highly recommended for anybody with Sony NEX-5.

Pros: A bit more expensive than some of the other third party batteries here, but still far cheaper than the original. I have several Pisen batteries for other gadgets and I think they keep getting better and better, more like actual brand products. The case is of excellent build quality and gives you a sense of confidence in the product. As far as I can tell it works and lasts just as long as the original, if not longer.

Cons: Nothing really. If I really have to try to come up with something it would be the plastic blister pack it comes in, it's a pain to open.

Other: Great value for you money.

Pros: Fits perfectly in my Sony SLT-A33. Works as good as the OEM battery. I feel the charge lasts longer than the OEM. I bought 2 of these to have backup batteries on the field and not worry about running out of power for my camera.
Not sure why DX requires 500 minimum chars and so I am typing this sentence. Not much more to say about this battery other than it is pretty good. Why does DX want 500 chars. Is that the minimum required for people to realize a good product is good. Hope this does it for the 500 char limit.

Other: Buy and save yourself some $$$$. The OEM version costs $50.

Other: Great alternative to original battery. Already charged and used in camera - all ok.

Pros: Good product, very useful to pros photografers wich needs long durations shoots or film. Good Price and good quality. I dont need buy original no more...

Cons: No cons it all. Only observation: DX take a litlle more time to send than normal.

Other: Buy 3 for the price of 1 original. Here in Brazil the original cost about US 60 dollars and its no easy to find.

Pros: At a lower price, performance is only slightly lower than original, 96% in my tests. The battery weights as the original, not like others sold even here in dealextreme, and it lasts the same; others cheaper last halve.

Cons: Sometimes the charge reading that the camera does seem to work strange, although the total time is similar to original, percentage reading is not accurate, when fully charged it lasts at 100% for a long time, but when less than 50% it goes down too quick. I think this is a problem of using this battery and the original when discharged, the camera does not calibrate properly in this way.

Other: It is nearly as good as sony, but at a fraction of the price. Pisen makes the best alternative batteries I know.

Pros: Compatible with my NEX-7 camera with 1.0 firmware. Charging with original charger. Capacity like original. After several months of use still has the same characteristics as new. Excellent physical performance, as the original Sony battery. as good as the OEM battery. All OK.

Cons: Nothing!!! As good as the original battery.

Other: Recommended for anybody with Sony NEX-7. Two pieces.

Pros: For the prize very good product. The original batteries are very expensive. It fits fine in the camera. I own the Sony Alpha 55. It lasts long enough when in use. Loading time same as long as the original batteries.

Cons: I have no cons. Considering the price and the quality.

Other: I would recommend this battery for the Sony users. Don't look any further. In Holland it's four times this price.
