Gentle Crystals Stainless Steel Self-Winding Mechanical Wrist Watch

Pros: -Self winding (of course)
-nice chain, shiny, and not shiny in the middle
-Little round thing for Day(ex monday) and one for day number ( ex 1st of month) and a round that turns with he seconds, easy to adjust.
-fast time adjusting
-Seconds thing moves fluent! not a jump at each second
-Looks very expensive!
-Has a nice motive ont the background, which isnt really visible on the pics from DX, but really nice

Cons: -glass of screen is a bit round, easy scratches
-not easy to change pins, but it can be done ;) took me 20 minutes to remove 5 pieces withe all the pins, the pins arent U-shaped but just like a hard cilinder
-I don't like the diamonds, but for others , it can be a pro
-opening mechanism is not like regular watches, it's a cheap mechanism, i dont know it will last long. but time will tell!

Pros: Price of course. But I feel that this is the best of the calendar automatic self-winding watches here on DX. The dark face is in perfect contrast with the silver dials and time markings. This enable very easy reading of date and time (something that's very difficult with the light colored version of this watch sku 18667). The calendar dials are quickly set with the little recessed pushpin plugs. These recessed plugs are an advancement over over other calendar watches that have protruding pushpin date controls as those are easily bumped when reaching in pockets, inadvertently resetting dates. This watch does not have that problem at all. Also this watches self-winder easily winds even with the slightest movement (another advancement over other self-winders here that require significant activity to keep the watch wound). And above all, my watch keeps excellent time!

Cons: I've had it over a month just looking for something negative to say about this watch. Didn't find one single thing. I even like the little do-nothing 60-second revolving gear (I'm an engineer, I get a kick out of it)

Other: Again, this is the best of the calendar self-winders here, as it overcomes the date reset problems that you would experience with other calendar pushpin watches such as sku 15169. And it keeps itself wound on your wrist, even on those "couch potato" weekends.

Pros: This is a great looking watch, very cheap but high quality, keeps good time, has the date and day of the week. Quick testing shows it keeps time to better than 3 sec per day, probably will get better as it wears in. Water resistant to 1 atmosphere, although I haven't tested it, and I don't wear it in the shower/swimming. I like being able to manually wind it, since I own several watches, pure automatics like my seiko will run down if I don't wear them every day. It also has hacking, which means the watch stops when you are setting it, much easier to get it exactly right.

Cons: The movement visible through the back looks a bit funny, with pink and blue bits (stickers?). Crown is smallish and harder to turn (to wind), especially while on the wrist.

Other: A great watch, highly recommended. Of all my DX watches I wear this one is my favourite, mostly because of the calendar, but also at ~38mm +crown it is smaller than the big tachymetre watches (sku 16037 at 42mm + crown) but not as small as the smaller watches (eg sku.18666 at about 33mm + crown), manual wind and hacking.

Pros: The watch is quite solid for AUD$30.
-decent time keeping
-nice look for dress watch
-automatic self-winding with optional wind up
-easy to use.
-rated for 1 ATM water resistance

Cons: Removing links requires some labour compared with U-pins. Solid pins are good except when you need to remove it.
-Had to use a small mallet with something like a drill index set. Gently tap them out using the arrows on the underside as per usual instructions to remove pins and links. Careful or you might damage them so take your time.

Other: For 1/10-1/100 of what I would pay for a mechanical watch it is worth it. It is great for everyday use and going out when you need a watch but worry about losing them.

Pros: No battery required
Easy to use (settings)
Small dials work (weekday and month day)

Cons: Case is not stainless steel
Fixing chain pins can be a bit troublesome, no big deal though.
Issues with metal pieces which connect chain to case

Other: Very affordable mechanical watch. Works OK so far, maybe in one year it will stop working, but with its price tag it's not a big deal: just buy a new one!

Pros: Simple and well built! Self winding really works and, besides that, you can manually wind it by turning the time wheel without pulling it out. Looks pretty pricey! Water-proof! I've worn it at the swimming pool many times and no problem!

Cons: Not many functions! Shows the time only, but, btw, thats the purpose, isn't it?
I'm afraid you won't be able to see what time is it if you're in a dark place.. No backlight and no fluorescent pointer at all.

Other: If you want, buy it! It's well worth!

Pros: Excellent hours, the normal assembly quality.
Watch that will appeal to all! Hours, which coincided with my expectations by 100%! All because I imagined. Stylish solid hours, look great in your hand. Indeed, mechanical. The interesting texture of the dial, it looks unusual and expensive.

Cons: Great body, but not the strap. It seems they are doing just as the probe - has long straps are not serve - change immediately, until lost in the most expensive product - body))). I hope that the brilliance of the metal casing is not oblezet in the near future, the glass is covered with scratches (it is heavily favored over the body)

Pros: his watch is absolutely exquisite. It's one of the most beautiful watches I have ever owned and at what a price! The material feels very solid and expensive. It's a very classy watch and you can wear it any time. it looks so great definitely dominates the attention of everyone around you even though it's not a very big watch. The weight is just perfect, it's not too heavy or too light. You will not be able to tell that this watch is avaiable for under 50 dollars, It really looks and feels that good.

Cons: I couldn't set the correct day on the watch as it was broken. But it's not big deal. I waited for a couple of days so the day was right and then i let the watch run. Now its ok.

Other: This is a really really cool watch: it looks much expensier then it is, is quite solid especially for this price. It doesnt scratch easy. Also it is waterproof so you wont accidently destroy it while washing your hands. A nice addition to my collection. Recommended.

Pros: Works exactaly as described. Got many compliments, looks very expensive and classy. Heavy feel, like a real watch should but not overtly heavy.

Cons: Sometimes if not worn everyday, time is incorrect. Not a problem for me as I love it so much it has become my daily watch. I suspect the watch is powered by wrist movement.

Other: Would highly recommend buying it for yourself or as a gift
