Genuine Apple iPhone 3G Replacement Touch Screen + LCD Screen Modules

Pros: Excellent parts, fit the iphone 3g just perfectly. All you need to do is follow an instructional video on youtube and the rest is easy.

Cons: Its generic, but just because its generic doesn't mean that its a bad product.
Could include the adhesive that is needed to put it together tho DX :S

Other: You get what is shown, perfect for someone like me who depressed the crap outta my screen and needed an urgent repair. delivery time wasn't too bad either.

Pros: LCD Screen works great. I haven't had to use the replacement glass, but it appears to perfectly match the existing front glass plate of the phone

Cons: I didn't have to replace the glass plate, but it appears that you need to remove the home button assembly, and speaker from the front of the original glass... When you connect them to the replacement glass, you will need to find some more flue to fit it to.

Other: The price is good. If your LCD needs to be replaced, this is a great option. If your glass is broken, this is probably also also a good option.

Pros: The thing is really good. The LCD screen, the touchscreen (comes without the home button) glass looks and feels just like the original. Had no problems instaling and the thing fits thight&perfectly.

Cons: OK, I'm only guessing here, but I think the screen resolution is not perfectly placed. It looks like the border-lines are missing a few pixels. Not randomly, but all along the border. So instead 480x320 it looks (and you really have to look real closely!) like the resolution is 475x316. But that causes no problems with UI and works perfectly nontheless. That's why I may be wrong and I still haven't compared that LCD to the original iPhone 3G screen.
Also, you'll have to buy this as well: sku.39620 It's the backside of the LCD screen. So don't forget to order that part as well!

Other: Good stuff. If your screen is broken, buy this, follow the YT video instruction or the iFixit step-by-step instructions and the fix will be a lot cheaper! :)

Pros: I recently bought this kit to replace my multi-touch screen (glass). While openining the iPhone I wasn't paying attention and broke my LCD screen (thank god this kit had an additional LCD). Both The multi-touch glass and the LCD screen, work exactly like the original!

Cons: Only one main con... you need to stick the multi-touch screen on the plastic frame. In most demonstration videos they use a 3M adhesive tape that comes with the replacement screen. I did not receive the tape, and after realising that normal double-sided tape isn't strong enough, I used epoxy glue (which worked fine, but will be impossible to seperate).

Other: Great product, saved me a lot of money

Pros: Great for replacement, great built quality, no difference from original. Quite easy to replace it by your self and there are many tutorials for that in the net. Price is really good if you need both - the LCD and the digitizer. Packaging is safe enough to survive the shipping.

Cons: Price could be lower. If you need only LCD or digitizer separately they could cost less

Pros: -If you know what you'r doing, it's easy to install
-It's hard enough to install, so you could mess it up when you don't know what you are doing(that's good - keeps the morons away who'd destroy their phone :) )
-It's really like the original digitizer and screen, in fact, there is no difference from original LCD
-Nicely packed - not that it would look pretty, but there is no way it could get hurt while transporitng

Cons: -You could say, that maybe the digitizer is a bit less sensitive than original, but its way more cheaper, than it's unsensitive.

Other: Buy it, when you know what to do with it. Otherwise - go to repair shop.

Pros: works exactly like it should. well covered with anti scratch plastic for safe installation. been working on my ipohne 3g now for a couple of weeks and it's working perfectly for me.

Cons: as mentioned doesn't come with adhesive to properly install. for the price it should really include that.could be packed better, but wasn't damaged in transit so all good

Other: certainly a lot better than paying for someone else to do it.

Pros: As most of us already said, the price is verry low. I don't think you can get the same for a lower price.
Works perfectly when it's done, but I only changed the screen and not the LCD, it was still working and unharmed.

Cons: No cons at all! Exept that the screen doesn't come in a box, but even so it's well packed and will arrive 100% unharmed!

Other: If yours is broken, I don't think you'll find a better price for fixing your iPhone.

Pros: really cheap price for the touch, and touchscreen its all u need to repair a broken screen and touchscreen really easy to replace it you can watch a tutorial video on youtube and u just fixed ur cellphone for a really good price

Cons: the screen was missing 2 pixels wich wasnt a problem at all, the problem came when a zone of the touchscreen stop working im waiting to dealextreme to solve this problem because im looking for my warranty i hope this problem get solve

Other: really easy to replace, but i couldnt find the glue sheets for these product i had to get it from a local shop, i hope u can put that product later

Pros: The kit was used to repair 2 iphones. The one with the LCD damaged was realy easy to fix .The one with the glass broken was more difficult to fix, the glass had to be removed bit by bit and the new glued again. Youtube videos were most helpfull. At the end both iphones were as good as new...

Cons: The tool kit I bought from DX was not so good, there problems to remove some screws, they are very small. I had to look for a professional screw driver to get the job done.
