Genuine Nintendo Upper TFT LCD Screen Module for NDS Lite

Pros: Overall a great screen. Just like the original. Should be exactly what you expect to receive.

Cons: As someone has mentioned in the discussion forums, there was no protective film over the screen. Mine wasn't covered in fingerprints, but I got mine all over it whilst handling it. Another con is inherent in the design of the DS Lite. You have to solder speakers onto the ribbon cable. I was lucky enough to have a friend do it for me, but just be aware soldering is involved. Last con, there's one stuck pixel. It isn't that noticeable but it's still a bit of a con.

Other: If you need a replacement top screen to fix your DS Lite, then buy this one. It's as good a quality as the originals and in very nice condition. Just be aware you need to do some soldering.

Pros: This frame seams to hold together better then others. The color is just as bright as the original. Pros: It's a working upper LCD screen. Makes the difference between unusable DS and usable, so well worth $15.

Cons: Pain in the A$$ to solder the speakers and re-install. While mine arrived in good condition (no shipping damage), it has two pixels stuck on. One annoying red and a barely noticeable blue/green. Also, screen seems to flicker some times on certain screens, but looks fine in general.

Other: If you have the tools and steady hands to solder the speakers to the solder points on the LCD ribbon cable (or have someone to do it for you), it's $15 well spent to make a DS lite usable again.

Pros: -The screen works and acts as a satisfactory replacement. - Looks ALMOST identical to the original Nintendo top screen.

Cons: - Definitely NOT genuine. The build and visual quality of this screen pales in comparison compared to Nintendo's screens. - Item may not match what the picture on this site depicts (mine didn't). - There's a high chance the item will arrive with dead pixels or even dead color streaks like mine.

Other: Unless you're really fickle about the pricing of a replacement top screen, I don't recommend buying this product. It is NOT genuine and if you want a top quality screen, this item is NOT worth your money. This item also may take up to a month for for it to arrive on your doorstep after ordering. But if you're feeling lucky and have the patience to wait, then go ahead, buy this item.

Pros: May it is not genuine but has much better quality control. 1. Perfectly fits in DS lite case. 2. Picture is great. 3. No dead pixels.

Pros: With the help of youtube, I try to change this morning and it took me less than 3 hours to change it (I do it slowly with other chores together). I didn't even check the screen whether it working properly before I set foot to change it. When I'm done, it work perfectly.

Cons: Nope so far.

Other: Good to get the bottom screen together.

Pros: Cheap and fits ok. I check from youtube how to chance the screen and it was relativity easy. No dead pixels at all.

Cons: screen is bit darker than original screen and it has dark lines in it and bit light leaks trough.. I don´t think that is really original screen

Other: it should de bought whit the bottom screen together.

Pros: fits into shell just fine, easy to solder speakers onto it, looks great when you hook it up

Cons: quality not as great as original but its hardly noticeable at most times, ribbon feels flimsy and if it rubs against the metal casing of the screen too much, it could rip the ribbon cable

Other: I recommend it if you don't want to pay too much and you're willing to wait for the shipment to arrive

Pros: This upper screen for nintendo DS lite is verry good quality and verry easy to install, you have to solder the speakers on but that is so easy, everyone can do it

Cons: This product works just great, came in a extra bubble-wraped package, so i did not get damaged, so i have nothing bad to say about it

Other: This product saved me some money from going to my local game store, I just made it myself
