Genuine Nokia 5800 Repair Part Replacement LCD Screen Modules

Pros: Abserlute identical replacement it states genuine LCD screen which it appears to be.

Cons: This is not a down side really as replacing a LCD screen is a get out of jail card but all you get is the screen (NO) instructions nothing, so if you are not possitive about dismantling your 5800 get someone who is used to dismantling gadgets, I reglularly have to replace the shell on my childs DS so I was used to fiddly connections.

Other: This is a New product I know that I am the fist to review it but it worked 100% for me I will be odering a second screen JUST in case it happens again.... also DX now do a complete shell relacement so if you are worried that you may break bits when trying to replace your screen $6 dollars is a good peace of mind and it will protect your screen a bit more in the post.

Pros: A relatively cheap way to resurrect a 5800 with a broken LCD! You'll need a T5 torx driver, found in the item 33456. There are few youtube vids of how to disassemble the phone the best one i found was - search for Wise808Productions.

Cons: Mine had MP1.5 on the back not MP2.0, whatever that means. The original broken one was MP2.0....

Other: Good deal and decent price - it's dropped two bucks since I ordered it.

Pros: It just work perfectly.

Cons: There is no problems with the product itself. Although could have a manual in it.

Other: Resurrected my 5800 phone after 20 minutes of work (including websearches). Worth the try.

Pros: Price as compared to non-warranty service.

Cons: No real cons, just if you are not an expert in disassembling/reassembling electronical gadgets, try to search at least instruction videos on the web.

Other: Very good product, works like advertised.
Replacement took me 10 minutes max.

Pros: I bought one and changed my cracked nokia 5800 LCD.
It's working fine, but there's not as easy as it seems to do this work, if you don't have any experience with electronics it's better to call a techinical suport.
Comprei no Brasil, custava R$ 200 pra trocar o LCD na banca do camelô, economizei R$ 150 praticamente.
Se você não tem, compre um joguinho de chaves, é baratinho e vale a pena.

Cons: The original/cracked model was MP2.0 and this one is MP1.2, different than the picture above shows. I think this one has a litle bit lower resolution than the other, but may be just my impression, I was 1 month without using this cel phone.

it's a little more difficult to to than shows the video, I think the video autor has done this a lot of times on that nokia and everything was more 'free' than the original ones.

Pros: very good new dispay for your broken nokia, the price of this item is very cheap. If you bring your nokia phone with broken display in a repair shop service it will cost you very expensive. Here in my contry It\'s aroun 100 USD. So just get this item and a proper repair kit and do it yourself. You will need a hex screwdriver an some other tools. Here in Dealextreme you can order repair kit fo 2-3 dollars and there is video how to change the display yourself , just search in youtube.

Cons: The qualty is not the same like the nokia original display but it is not so bad at all. For this price is great

Pros: The screen has been received fully working, and it appears to be genuine. Furthermore, it has been throughly packed, and shipped quickly.

Cons: The screen itself has no cons (except for its relatively high price), though its installation is a bit tricky and may cause damages to other parts in the phone.

Other: Great product, too bad I had bad luck installing it.

Pros: It is arrived after 40 days but it's normal for my country. The display is well protected in the package, in fact it did not have a scratch or other imperfections. Quality of the display is super! I think it's truly an original nokia.

Cons: A bit difficult to mount, the flat is very thin and if you do not takes care, it breaks but it's normal, change a display it's not a job for everyone!

Other: I think it's a great deal, an original piece at a great price!
