Give-You-a-Surprise Wooden Box (Practical Joke)

Pros: The lever swings the bug right up and onto the user's hand very quickly. Unless you're opening it very slowly and meticulously, it'll be too fast for the victim to realize what it is before the panic sets in. The etching on the lid gives it away, but amazingly most folks fell for it anyway. They were suspicious, but were still unprepared for a bug to pop out at their hand.

Cons: The text engraved on the top is a dead giveaway that this is some kind of trick. It would be more effective if there was no engraving at all.
The lid was kind of warped, which made opening it awkward sometimes.

Other: A great prank, fools more people than you'd expect.

Pros: Almost killed my aunt with this... I didn't belive that people still fall on this joke but it works, especially with women.

Cons: Works only if the lid is upwards. Not so great build quality but good enough. Text on the top gives a hint that there's someting in this box (Not a big broblem in non english countries).

Other: Nice thing to suprise your family. Leave it on the table and see who's curious...
Be careful, somebody could have heart problem. You dont want to actually kill with this thing!

Pros: Very funny toy, the box is made of good quality wood (not good to make furniture, but just as expected in a toy like that). The "bug" is made of soft silicone and feels a little greasy and cold when in touch with your skin, which gives the joke a better effect.

Cons: I was expecting a scorpion inside the box, just like the product photos, but it came with a spider. Not a big problem, since the objective was reached anyway, but pictures could be more precise about what we are buying.
As expected, the sliding cover gets a little stuck sometimes because it's wood, but I've put a little of grease (used in CD and DVD-ROM mechanisms) to make it easier to open. Worked like a charm.

Other: It's cheap, funny, won't break for nothing as the box is very well mounted.
My biggest problem is that I'll have to buy another one since my little boy took it from me! :)

Pros: very fun to look the people face when the scorpion/spider came out of the box, and they came fast as the box is open. that scares until me... ^^.

Cons: some times it stuck, but no a big problem because the rate of shock seems to be the same other person

Other: so is cheap, funny and very durable... recomend this product to every joker.

Pros: A simple toy which will work on maybe 1 in 4 people. Easy to fix.

Cons: Breaks a lot. One of the pegs that hold the bug in falls out quite frequently. A bit of glue will fix that. The bug falls off fairly frequently as well. Glue may help here as well but it's been lost for quite a while now.

Other: Initial bad build quality is easily fixed by adding a bit of glue. If you don't glue it you will spend more time fixing it that using it. Still worth the buy and I'll likely purchase this or something similar again.
