GlobalSat BU-353S4 USB GPS Receiver

Pros: Good quality product. Comes with Driver and GPS check software on CD. Easily installed even on Win 7x 64 bit. I'm used more fresh USB-com driver from manufacturer. Original Prolific driver is exactly the same as Global Sat driver. I'm used more fresh USB-com driver from manufacturer. (Prolific) PL2303 Driver Installer v1.5.0 avaliable at Prolific

Cons: Easy enoughf to use GPS dongle. Just inslall USB-Com port driver and port replicator for different navigation software. For the first time (To check GPS) I'm used Google earth. GPS easily detect position. I Suppose that accurasy is about 3 meters. GPS fast enoughf detects satelits even at 4800 baund rate. Works at 9600. (I didn't test on other port speeds yet) Reseiver has rubber seal inside and red led for indication. Also you can put it on the top of the car. The bottom of reseiver is rubbered. Also there is a magnet.

Other: Good quality product for it's cost. ( On DX it cost 2 times less than in my sity)

Pros: I hooked this device to my Win XP netbook with OziExplorer and can track while driving. Teh steps are as follows: 1) Run GPS Info from CD to scan COM port number 2) Run OziExplorer and in configuration select the COM port 3) Select NMEA GPS data format 4) Open map 5) Turn on MovinMap mode 6) Enjoy !

Other: Excellent GPS receiver, will definetely recommend anyone who wants to use laptop with GPS software.

Pros: + Waterproof + fast cold and hot start, fast acquisition of satellite data + good sensitivity. Works well inside a car, in the urban areas and in deep forest. +There is no need to place receiver on the roof or under the windshield. Works everywhere inside car. + made by Globalsat. It'a not a Chineese no-name device, you can download drivers and get other support from manufacturer.

Cons: - SIRF 4 chipset is not supported by the SIRF 3 software and utilities.

Pros: Small, accurate manufacture and easy to use receiver. Drivers included Installs in seconds. Includes Velcro on the glass to secure the cable. Cable length 1.8m

Cons: No attachment to the device, only velcro on the glass for mounting the wire.

Other: Best USB-GPS receiver. I use with Garmin Mobile PC. Work's GREAT !

Pros: Excellent GPS receiver! I use on the yacht for electronic cards, together with the Win XP laptop. Available a disk with drivers. Tried to establish on win7 too everything perfectly works. Month expected delivery - expectations completely came true!!! There is a magnet, probably fastening is direct on a metal surface.

Cons: Didn't find! The goods arrive the perfectly packed.
