Godox PROPAC PB820 Power Battery Pack for Nikon SB800 EURO SB28DX SB80DX SB800 SB900 Flash

Pros: I previously had an 8 AA battery power pack that screwed on to the bottom of the camera, that was OK, but got in the way if you wanted to do portrait shots.
I got this to replace it to go with my Nikon SB800 Flashgun.
The build quality is very good, nothing is marked or unfinished, everything is made to a high quality.
The battery holds it's charge, I used it fully charged and after 6 hours of continuous use, it had only gone down 1 LED light.
The power pack is a life saver, using it without, I would typically get through 3 packs of AA batteries per music event and now I can last with one as the power pack takes most of the load away from the AA cells.
Out of 250 shots I think I got 3 that were under exposed due to the flash not recycling quick enough.
The pack is light to wear on a belt, no need to use a photographers belt if you are only wearing this.
The cord from the unit to the flash is well made and chunky enough to feel well made.
Good packaging, retail boxed.

Cons: The unit isn't exactly small, it is about the same size as my Nikon D300 + The Grip in height, I thought this would be a problem but it's not that noticeable on your waist.
The cord, although well made, could do with being a little more flexible so it is easier to hold the camera with the unit on your waist and the camera stretched above your head.

Other: A very good power pack, worth the money on DX.
This will save a lot of faffing about changing batteries and missing potential shots at events.

Pros: Very useful product, excellent quality, recharges the flash too rapid and lasts for many loads on full load. Recharging is quick and can be done in your own car.

Cons: I see a few contrar this product. But they are: great product, bad hang. Another problem is the wire size, turns out to be very short which restricts the movements a bit.

Pros: easy, simple, long lasting. I am an editorial / entertainment photographer and have use two of these unit to cover 10 days of festival events with many red carpet and media wall step and repeat. My flash is usually running at 1/8 power and this until has no issue in keeping up and two unit lasted for entire 10 days. one unit lasted for 7 days +.

Cons: no cable lock and the cord can come out if you extend the cord reach as the cord is very stiff and took a while to be stretched. would be nice if the unit is a bit shorter.

Other: Great product and DX.com has great pricing. Plan to purchase a couple more in future.
