Gold Plated Component Video and Audio AV Cable for Wii - Grey (1.8M Length)

Pros: - This is a cheap cable compared to the "official" one. - The colouring on the cable ends make it easy to differentiate the video and audio connectors.

Cons: The cable doesn't work very well. It doesn't even register a signal when connected to my projector. I tried it on a friend's HDTV and it did have a signal, but there was interference in the signal (fuzzy/static parts). Also, when I originally bought this cable it was advertised as 2.2 metres (though the title has subsequently changed to 1.8M). That was the main reason I bout this one. Needless to say when I got it I was disappointed. I measured it at 1.85 metres. That 35 cm made a big difference in my setup.

Other: This cable is not worth it, unless you can boost the signal, but why would you? Go for a better cable with more reliable ratings.

Pros: If you're looking for a replacement to the expensive original cable, that's what you want. The console recognizes that you're using the cable when you go to the setup page, just like the original one. You can see the image difference on games that really use a higher resolution.

Cons: You must keep your console near to TV. The cable length is almost the same as the original one: short. Maybe hard to find an extension for it.

Other: You can see the image difference on the console menu and some games, but it will note make any miracle. If you already have a complex connection (with sound devices, receivers, etc) using default cables, change to this cable will not worth the change.

Pros: It is gold plated, but i haven't seen much difference when compared to a simpler component cable, although it is slightly better then the original AV cable. The connectors are big and the rubber protecting the cable helps to preserve integrity.

Cons: I have seen no difference by having a gold plated cable, better by sku 4256. When I bought this product the length was announced as 2.2M, and not 1.8M, as they changed latter. This made some difference to where I was intending to use it.

Other: There are similar cables cheaper in dealextreme, I see no reason to choose this one, specially because it has only 1.8M.
