Gold Plated Right-angle HDMI Male to Female Adapter/Converter

Pros: Works fine. Solid. Easy to use.

Cons: Angle is wrong for me - USA. the 90 degrees turns into the TV and on my laptop it turns it down (which is fine) So right now, i only use it for my laptop. Have not tried it on my computer monitors side.

Other: Quality seems good but since the HDMI is insertion specific. Make sure you check your HDMI input to see if the is the correct 90 angle you want. May have minimal use for me - I will look to see if i can use it on my LCD monitors or game consoles (PS3/Xbox)

Pros: Well it looks to be very well built,and my HDMI cables are a nice fit in to it. Its gold plated.... Its black....

Cons: Well there is only one con for me and I suspect a lot of other people, and that is......IT GOES IN THE WRONG DIRECTION!!!! I bought this for the stupidly positioned HDMI socket on the side of my Sony Bravia TV so that the cable would not be sticking out the side,but when I tried to insert it into the TV, the female part would be pointing forward, and not to the back like I wanted!!

Other: It is now sitting in a drawer in my house gathering dust....too light for a paperweight.I might use it to stir some paint next time I am decorating......... :)

Pros: - gold plated
- fit well, easy to use
- minimal size

Cons: - wrong angle for me (at first I want it to use to "hide" side connector on my Sony TV
- maybe there is some HDCP protection issue, because PC -> TV works properly, but HomeTheatre -> TV doesnt (both latest Sony models, and my alternative idea how to use it failed)
- ... now I have new decoration on my shelf :(

Other: - buy it if you accept what I said, and/or if you dont know what thats mean then you rather buy new cable with folding ends, which support all HDMI features

Pros: well. its a right angle connector unfortunatly it probaly wont dow hat you want.. because there is no standard for the positioning of hdmi connectors they might be up down sideways up over, who knows... i think the only place this works good is from a cimputer to a monitor.. doesn't do much for tvs// at least with mine unless iw ant to run my cord over my tv.

Cons: wrong angle for me.. but not for everybody.. like i said it pros it really depends on which way ure hdmi connector points

Pros: I bought this converter because my TV is mounted on a wall and the HDMI cable does not fit well into the space between the TV and the wall resulting the bending of the cable and unnecessary force on the connector.
This converter fit very well on the HDMI sockets of my (European) Samsung LCD. socket header is the "right" way, Faces down when mounted.

Cons: None. I am pretty happy with this purchase. I do not know if it really is gold plated but the gold plating of cables is a hype anyway.

Other: Buy this if you use a LCD/Plasma TV on a wall mount.

Cons: none, just accomplish whit the cause

Pros: Awesome price. Bought it so that the HDMI cable on my PS3 was less in the way. Now, the cable is vertical as soon as it exists my PS3, which is cleaner and allows me to push it farther back in my entertainment unit. Not had any issues. Video quality is the same. I like digital stuff. Build quality is fine. It’s small, and rugged. I don’t think it’d be easily crushed or deformed. The contacts inside the adapter seem sturdy too. If I was in a submarine, and one of the hatches was closing during a hull breach, and I only had one of these things on me and my wedding ring … I’d use this thing. I think it could hold a big hatch open. Unless it was hydraulic.

Cons: Cons? Doesn’t come in other colours maybe?

Other: It allows HDMI cables to be at 90 degree angles.

Pros: This is quite a useful little gadget that can save you a lot of space for an almost insignificant price (considering the price of HDMI stuff).

Cons: For some reason, whenever I try to use it on the cable connecting my computer graphic card to my LCD TV I got a message of "incompatible resolution" on the screen. Removing the adapter, everything goes right.

Other: I believe the part I've got has a manufacturing problem, but I am willing to try and buy another.

Pros: Quality is good and it does what it should do. Good product for good price. No cons.

Cons: No cons, well have one: I would need same kind of adapter to my other project but the angle should be opposite to this. Deal Extreme don't have one.

Other: Works nice. If you need it, buy it. Just hope Deal Extreme would have one with opposite 90 degree angle.

Pros: Well this is the kind of adapter that I wouldn't ever be able to buy in my city. It works great, it does what is supposed to. I used mine to free some space behind my TV and that does the job.

Cons: I couldn't find in the whole deal extreme site an adapter that is the opposite of this one. That's very sad because I needed for both sides. Sure, there are some that can be ajusted, but not as tiny as this one.

Other: I would consider buying one of the ajustables instead of this.
