What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: Flux is a great addition to your smd soldering. This one helps a lot when you need extra flux(flux inside the solder wire evaporates...), and you need extra flux when doing smd ic soldering.
Cons: I wish it was sold inside a bottle with funnel. I had to buy a bottle & funnel from dx too. But it still was cheap compared to shops here.
Other: Don't miss it. You'll see great improvents in your soldering skills! Might useful to buy them through wholesale to get 3 or more.

Pros: Good and really cheap flux for soldering.
The solution with alcohol lets it flow over the hole soldering place easily.
Cons: Bottle makes it a little difficult to dispense, you probably should bye a dispenser bottle together with this.
Other: Very good to solder small close pitched pads, makes the solder flow without bridging.
Also very suitable for drag soldering!
Even if you just occasionally do some solder work, this is a very nice thing to have. Makes it easy to solder wires and like.

Pros: + It does what is supposed to do (alcohol based flux)
+ Half the price you can get from a retail local dealer
Cons: - The built-in dispenser is not very accurate so it releases a very big drop (this can be easily fixed using sku 5068)
Other: If you need a alcohol based flux this is a very good option. Order it with sku 5068 for an accurate dispensing.

Pros: If you need flux, this works. It's inexpensive. It's probably more than enough to last most casual hobbyists for a very long time. (Most people will probably lose this bottle before the product actually runs out.)
Cons: Like others have said, dispensing is the Achilles heel of this particular product. (I use a q-tip, which is not the best way to apply flux, but it works.)
Other: There's not much more to say.
Good luck with your project.

Pros: No odd smells when soldering.
Not much fumes when soldering.
Also cleans copper very well using a piece of cotton ball for when you want to clean or solder on a dirty/old PCB.
VERY cheap! Local electronics store charges about 15 euro's for this amount of flux!
Lasts for a lifetime!
Cons: The supplied bottle is pretty useless unless you are using q-tips.
Chinese label.
Maybe a bit too liquid-ish.. if it were a bit thicker it would stick nicer to soldering pads.
Other: Excellent flux for very little money!
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -great amount of product, will last for a while
-not much fumes
-takes a while to evaporate,so you won't need to add more flux
-it has some viscosity, it will stay where you put it
-shiny solders
Cons: -you have to remove the rests from the PCB when you finish soldering because it oxidizes the copper, but this happens with almos every fluxes
-Had to buy a bottle with needle to aplly better
Other: have seen lower quality fluxes for twice the money
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Makes corroded copper solderable. - Fairly big amount of flux for a cheap price.
Cons: - Leaves dark residue after soldering. - Residue is CONDUCTIVE! - So it absolutely needs thorough cleaning after soldering if used on PCBs, which is not always possible (e.g. under ICs). => Not really usable on PCBs!
Other: Buy it only if you really know the conductive residue will not be an issue.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Value priced -High quality -Compact package -Very easy to use
Cons: -None that I can think of right now
Other: Get some if you're serious about doing clean solder jobs. Works well on any electronic components - perfect for all things RC related like motors, batteries, speedcontrols, wiring, etc.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Liquid flux easy to spread apply. Creates excellent solder joints. I do high density electronics soldering by hand (0.5mm pitch and smaller) and this flux works as well as the far more expensive fluxes. I recommend to anyone! Using this flux I can solder a 28pin SSOP on a board without soldermask in less than 30 seconds.
Cons: No cons to speak of! I'm buying more!
Other: Buy this if you solder small parts.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: * Works as expected
* It's real flux
* Fairly sticky, it'll stay where you want it to be
* It will make a major difference when soldering small stuff:)
Cons: * It's kind of expensive considering you can make your own flux using IPA and resin(sku.4697), but if you want easy to use and fast to use, get this one
* You have to clean up the residue, but that's standard procedure with flux
Other: If you need small quantities of easily available normal quality flux, get this, it'll do the job great.
