Other: Great product if you solder alot. you may also want a soldering pump and the iron cleaning pads sku: 4683 .

Pros: Wick is wick. And this is wick. In other words, it's doing what it should do in a pretty nice way. But usually wick's more expensive, this one's nicely priced. Even more, you'd have a hard job finding wick that's cheaper than this.

Cons: No cons, other than that it would be perfect if you wouldn't need it at all...

Other: If you do an occasional soldering job, this should be on your workbench.

Pros: -It's a way cheaper and better than that I can get here in Brazil;
-It has the enough flux to absorb the solder; You don't need to use extra flux like some bad quality wicks.

Cons: - No cons at all.
- Pay attention to the 2mm width, depends the amout of solder to remove the 1.5mm or 2.5mm width would do it better.

Other: What can I say? This one is better quality and the half of the price than the wicks I usually get here

Pros: Excellent, very good hobby use, even pro use.

Cons: Wish it had more wick! But don't we all wish it was longer ;-)

Other: Get it, but buy two. It uses up fast.

Pros: I tried a lot of cheap wicks, and this is the first one that is actually good, just place the wick on the piece of tin you want to remove, gently touch the wick with your soldering iron and it sucks up the tin, without having to use flux.
The package makes it easy to use, and easy to store, take to work/school.

Cons: i really cant find any cons, eccept the fact that there is only a little of the roll filled with wick, it looks like its half empty, maybe put some more on one roll.
but for this price, dont let that stop you from buying it!

Other: If you need a desoldering wick, just buy this, its great!

Pros: This works as promised. It helped me very much when repairing a motherboard. Otherwise, it is very difficult to remove the solder from the holes, because those are multi-layer boards, and the solder is lead-free.

Cons: Could be cheaper/longer :p

Pros: Very good product. The same I can find in my country for 3x the price. The product came in a plastic sealed bag so it will not get oxidized.

Cons: No cons. I wish it was longer but for this price it is perfect. You can buy three or more and get good discounts.

Other: Good product and good price. I think I will buy more, next time I will try 2.5mm and 1.5mm. I hope these will be just as good as this one.

Pros: Cheap wick soldering remover.I picked it mainly because of it's price.Works flawlessly in removing small parts of solder,solder is gone fast and clean.

Cons: Not so good for removing bigger solders but there are other tools for that purpose.

Other: Price is good,although wick itself could be longer so it would be even better value for the money.Buy it if you need cheap desoldering option for occasional use.Get more if you do much desoldering as this thing gets used up pretty fast.

Cons: Nothing that I can imagine of. Maybe a bit stiffer (tight mesh) than I like. It sucks somewhat small amounts of solder, but, again, there are 1.5 meters of it.

Other: If you solder sometimes, buy it, it is better to have it when you need it.

Pros: If you know what this is, you probably need it and want to buy it. I don't need to convince you. This product was the same quality as I've come to expect. No curve balls. It soaks up solder.

Cons: It didn't sing me a lullaby after long nights of soldering ;( Really though, no problems.

Other: Da Goot Wick is goot! Buy da goot wick!
