Pros: * Good quality probe, easily piercer meat, etc.
* The sensor is in the very tip of the probe.
* Stable reading in a few seconds
* Can use just about anywhere, -50 to 300C (-58 to 572F) range (note, I haven't tested it to such extreme, but meat on the BBQ and freezer worked fine.
* Nice size
* "Remembers" the last used type, Celsius or Fahrenheit.
* Easy to clean
* Comes in a practical storage tube
* Automatically shuts off after 15 minutes
Cons: * Rubber buttons are a bit small but not really a big issue just need to press "On/Off" and "Hold" anyway. Never had a problem.
Other: A great little cooking and everyday thermometer at a fantastic price (I paid about this price for a small *mechanical* cappuccino thermometer here!)

Pros: Excelent product. Great amplitude, and great precision. Showed boiling water at 100.0º and melting ice at 0.0º. I thought it was going to be pretty unaccuracy, but I'm really surpised. The sensor seems to be in the peak, and not near de display, which make it more interesting.
Cons: I dont want to heat it up to 300ºC, as it is made of plastic.. But thats all..
Other: Even if you don't need it now, buy it. You never know when it is going to be useful :-)

Pros: Seriously. I use it all the day for my thermodynamic experience (extreme cold), it comme with his battery (button cell), and is working to -50 to +300 degrees, this thermocouple is awesome. The time of acquisiton is very short (less than 1 second when a different temperature is detected), and you can switch to °C or °F. For all the time i shipped on DX, its probably for me the most INCREDIBLE product that i have ordered for the price ! i would buy more, because it is simply wonderful . Thanks a lot DX !!!
Cons: i would pay to know his cons ! perhaps a range to -200...+1000 °C =))))
Other: .

Pros: — It works!
— It works good!
— Wide temperature range (-50° to 300°), though I tested it only from 20 to 100°
— Quite accurate, it knows that water boils 100° C, which is not obvious for some thermometers
— It can be switched to Celsius, this is convenient, because Fahrenheit is quite unusual in our country
— Light and thin
— Easy to clean
— Price is very good
— Nice and convenient case
— Nothing to be confused with
Cons: For me it would be better if thermometer was especially for brewing (I need if in first place for making cream cheese), so it could have pot mount and shorter probe. Holding it in hand while stiring liquid in the pot, holding in right hand, must I say... it could be better. But I understand that this thermometer is not especially for brewing.

Pros: Sturdy easy-to-use thermometer.
Quite good build quality, really easy to use one. I'm using it to prepare water for drinking high-quality chinese tea - very useful.
Cons: Not super-fast, but it's due to heavy-duty probe, not really con if using it for meat.
Other: Useful for brewing high-quality chinese tea with good temperature precision. Can be easily used for cooking meat:)

Pros: * Good quality probe
* Fairly precise, I compared to a couple classic medical thermometers and the readings were 0.1°C accurage
* Cheap battery(AG13)
* Auto shutdown after 45 minutes
Cons: * The top part is a little on the cheap size, but nothing worrying, still feels sturdy
Other: A very good thermometer, highly recommended for anything food related, or not food related.

Pros: - precise thermometer (0,1°C; boiling water @ sealevel 99,7°C)
- good quality probe, easy to clean.
- auto shutdown after 45 min.
- nice thermometer bulb to store the device.
- cheap
Cons: - right handed only
- very little buttons
- plastick display and battery holder wouldn't withstand high temperatures
Other: A cheap alternative for regular food thermometers giving high precision and good quality.

Pros: 1) Built nice, well-looking, even surprising for a Chinese product :)
2) Generally, it's precise. When measured the human temperature, shows 36.0 vs 36.4 on a professional medical thermometer.
3) really stands high temperature (tried >200C).
Cons: The only con is that it is really slow. It take several minutes to get not just exact value, but only an approximate value. In some kinds of work, you will not be able to spend such time for measurement!
Other: I noticed that the device works much better when the spike is at least 1/3 inside of some stuff that should be measured. When you just touch something with a tip of the spike, the thermometer is VERY slow to notice the difference. See my video for comparison with a multimeter for details.

Pros: · It's perfect for cooking with very good accuracy. · Good quality materials · You can switch to °C or °F · Very good range. · Easy to clean
Cons: It's not a cons... Quite slow when it measure for example ice to hot drink, it appears step by step, but it's normal to convert analog output to digital input. Or you have accuracy or fast reading.
Other: I would recommend it all the people that needs some thermometer cooking.
