    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: The kit came in a nice little basket with a Chinese symbol on it, artificial soil, clay gravel and the seeds. The basket is lined with a plastic cup. Planting was easy - just place the gravel in the cup, add the artificial soil and the seeds on top. Water & hope it grows. English (or more Engrish) instructions included.

    Cons: The basket is smaller then expected, the whole thing is just the side of a US 1-cup measuring cup. Could contain a few more seeds (I think mine just had 5 seeds). Would be great if the basket had a draining hole in the liner, I am afraid I will over-water it.

    Other: Great little addition to my desk garden!
