What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. Pros: These are low self discharge batteries, so these are useful for long term use, where the product might not be used for some time. This removes the hassle of reloading your batteries when you'll need them. The capacity seems to be what is promised.
Cons: None that I can think of. Not very cheap, but you get what you pay for. If you need the low self discharge, you'll have to pay some more.
Other: There are several brands available, this seems to be of good quality so far.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: These battery's are really strong, mine 200mw green laser pointer seems to last very long with these.
They are a littlebit above 750mAh so not overrated!
Cons: no cons!
Other: Mine laser output is much stable with these battery's, they seem to be much stronger then heavy duty duracells.
They seem to be not overrated and they look cool and it is LSD!
BUY THEM FAST!

Pros: Low self-discharge batteries.
Price is perfect, here these batteries cost between 5.40 to 9.30 USD/piece in the shops, DX sells them for 2.10 USD/piece! More than excellent price.
Better relative price per 100 mAh compared to GP Recyko AAA ( sku.8980 ). GSYuasa cost 1.13 USD per 100 mAh, GP cost 1.20-1.26 USD per 100 mAh (resp. before and after the price drop).
All came precharged between 1.311-1.315 V (higher than GP sku.8980 which arrived charged at 1.203-1.248)
Cons: Rated 800 mAh on the battery (website desciption is wrong) and min. 750 mAh.
After I performed a 39 hour break-in test with Maha Powerex MH-C9000 charger, the results were disappointing - 728, 763, 727, 757 mAh. The test included 16 hour slow charge at 80 mA per battery, 1 hour rest, 5 hour discharge at 160 mA, 1 hour rest, 16 hours slow charge at 80 mA again. Average capacity of this set of batteries seems to be 744 mAh, but for this price of 8.39 USD they yield the lowest price per 100 mAh (see the Pros above).
Other: Excellent price for a 700-750 mAh battery. But if you want a higher capacity battery for 30% higher price - go for GP sku.8980 (which is above 900 mAh!).
Will buy another set first because they are good price and second because I want to test another set (maybe this one happened to be a bad one?)

Pros: They are Low Self Discharge.
The price is good for this quality.
The build quality is very good.
They are properly rated.
Cons: None so far.
Other: The cheapest Rechargeable AAA LSD batteries I could find. Buy them if you need good LDS AAA batteries.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - They're the real deal. Actual GS Yuasa LSD batteries for pretty cheap! Cheaper than any other LSD battery. - Came almost fully charged! Really LSD. - Lasts a long time in low-drain operations due to their low self discharge ability. Wireless mouses that aren't used the whole day, for example, and these are the kind of rechargeable batteries that might be used on remote controls, but I wouldn't even then because of the price :D Charge in the expected time, with any charger. AAA size for little electronic devices! :D
Cons: No cons at all. Could be cheaper, like EVERYTHING, but the price is fair! I think their cost-benefit cannot be beaten. Just be sure to use a decent charger.
Other: Buy one for using, and a second set for keeping as charged spares :D

Pros: Nice looking, tough outer jacket on battery. 750mAh rating. Same size as AAA, works in all devices that I have tried.
Cons: Larger battery pack at lower individual price would be nice.
Other: Forget standard NiMh batteries for anything other than charge and use straight away. These are closer to Alkaline type of use and can be charges up then left in a drawer for months, then used.

Pros: They are Low Self Discharge. The price is good for this quality. The build quality is very good. They are properly rated. Batteries come pre-loaded with 75% and the load is equal (or more) to that shown in the box. Perfect for use in wireless mouse or other devices that do not require constant use.
Cons: None so far.
Other: The cheapest Rechargeable AAA LSD batteries I could find. Buy them if you need good LDS AAA batteries.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - Very pro looking batteries and packaging - Batteries came pre-loaded (but not 100%), so they are ready to use if you need them. - I've been using them with sku.3156 for a few weeks now, and they didn't need any recharge yet (exept the first recharge), so they are holding charge quite well. - They seems to hold charge as good as my eneloops. - They are cheaper than Eneloops
Cons: - None. Maybe 800 or 900mAh would have been even better.
Other: Really good batteries, and cheaper than Eneloops.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: - LSD (low self discharge) batteries - Good price when compared to other LSDs - Good price even when compared to normal NiMH batteries if bought outside DX. - Build quality is quite good! - Good capacity for an LSD battery; capacity was actually significantly ABOVE the advertised in my case (I tested my batteries with a BC-900 and they had capacities of 799, 805, 813 and 841 mAh). This was quite a surprise, since for most brands you would actually be happy to achieve, say, "only" 10% below the advertised) - Not fake
Cons: None. They came pre-loaded with only 400 mAh in my case. Not really a con; most people would actually charge their batteries to full before using anyway, and after charging capacity is good.
Other: Buy it! These are probably the best LSD batteries on DX, since most people that have bought the other brands recently are claiming they were fakes. I'm certainly happy with my purchase and would recommend it to other people for sure.
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: Low self discharge. The reported capacity seems legitimate. Will hold charge for over a year. Prolly better then the (possibly fake) eniloops on DX and just as good as the GP Recycos
Cons: No cons so far - all good.
Other: Great batteries, great price, you prolly won't find a similar deal elsewhere - unless you are in japan this is a great price. Buy them.
