Gyro Mini Steel USB Rechargeable 3-CH R/C Helicopter

Pros: Charges from USB (I leave it plugged into my PS3 in the living room all the time.) Indication of when it is charging and when it's done. Very well built. Takes crashing relatively well. Nothing broken yet.

Cons: The specific unit I got flies backwards. It seems a little out of balance. Not much though as taping a small laptop screw to the nose balanced it right out. Tail rotor comes on a little strong both forwards and backwards. Would be better if it had a slower speed initially.

Other: Pretty good heli. You won't be disappointed. It might need just a little fore/aft trimming which can be fixed very simply with a small amount of weight. These things are very small and light so the tiniest deviation in the squareness causes them to be out of trim and therefore expect to have to do a little adjusting perhaps.

Pros: Very easy to use.
Control is very nice and the tilt control at the bottom center of the control unit is very usefull to prevent the helicopter to spin.
Lights are very nice, specialy at night.
It can fly for 10 minutes. I think it is because of the 200 mAh battery.

Cons: My unit came with the black plastic part that holds the tail rotor broken and I had to glue it.

Other: Very good helicopter for beginers.
Good on learning how to fly.

Pros: good helicopter, works well indoors. solid metal frame, seems like a quality product.
three degrees of freedom (up/down, left/right, and forward/backward), and well as a bright white light in front and colored lights in back.

Cons: the remote control seems a bit junky, but it works fine. the remote requires 6 AA batteries, which is a lot.

Other: would buy it again. good fun for kids, too.

Pros: Helicopter looks very nice. Metal built. Seems very robust. Survived a few nasty crashes, undoubtedly due to its built and the fact that the main rotors fold when touched. Incidentally I think that this will also prevent some nasty bruises if you inadvertedly "attack" a person or a pet. Beware though. Being hit by one of these is not nice and eyes are definitely in danger. Control is quite precise and consistent.

Cons: - Remote control looks awful, but it works without any issues. This helicopter deserves a better-looking, better-built remote.
- The helicopter tail has a free screw which cannot be fixed (factory defect). It's not a deal breaker since the tail is held by a strong structure.

Other: I'd recommend this helo to grown ups and +12 kids alike. It's always fascinating to see a helo this small perform so well. 3Channels is the absolute minimum o control a helo: up/down, fwd/bkwd and left/right, but the manufacturer managed to squeeze another command - turn helo lights on/off by pressing the buttons on the remote. I started the helo with lights off and I called my son. He was amazed at the helo, but when I turned the lights on and off, he was extatic! Go figure :) Overall, this is a nice toy and a nice birthday present.

Pros: Just finished my first flight with this Heli - its rock solid, came perfectly balanced fore and aft, just had to turn the trim control all the way to the right to prevent any rotation.
I've had another Heli also sold by DX (the 'Lie Bro' one) and I'm amazed at how stable the flight is and how exact the turning and forward backwards motion is compared to that one.
It charges very fast (it says 40-50 mins in the instructions, but only takes around 15 minutes on USB cable, and a red light on the USB connector turns off automatically after charging has finished).
Solid metal construction and folding wings make it very crash-proof, this thing is well engineered.
Being able to turn on and off the bright white headlights and blue/red taillight is awesome, and an extra charger is included on the remote control.

Cons: Can't think of any - like any Heli you'll have to take good care of it..

Pros: It has gyro so it´s very stable. Metal frame looks solidly and nothing broken after many crashes. You even get some spare blades and back proppeler. Control is easy and you can switch flashlights (which are very bright) off, so you can spare some power for motor. You can charge it from pc (usb with LED indicator) and chopper is charging pretty fast. Trimm is another great feature because after some crashes you have to trimm it to stop rotating.

Cons: Low Quality of IR control. Time of flight is short (about 8 mins). Even a small wind cause a huge crash. :D

Other: If you thing about RC heli, this one is very good choice for its price. Totally recomended.

Pros: - easy to repair - relatively low price - easy to control

Cons: No cons, just keep in mind, that this is indoor only heli for beginners.

Other: Very good heli for beginners, you can forget about crashes and just fly.
