Pros: High quality of the image. Video not interpolated. It is well visible on the samples of video uploaded by me. Numbers of passing and counter cars almost always can be read. The visual angle - 120 degrees - corresponds to the declared. The device has the small size. Infrared illumination works on distance ~5 m. Menu translation into Russian good. Very long cable of a supply. It can be charged also from USB.

Cons: Quality of video at night - poor. Infrared illumination in the car at driving is useless. The covers closing SD card / USB HDMI ports are badly fixed and jingle on the move. The bracket fixing the device to glass - is inconvenient. It should be twice shorter. And to have it is more than freedom levels. Device fixing to a bracket - the screw - is very inconvenient. Easily opening fixer is necessary.

Other: Quality of written down video costs this money. Simple finishing of the device for fastening of covers Is required. And more difficult modification of fixing and a bracket. Or bracket changeover. I recommend to purchase. It is exact not a fake.

Pros: Parcel arrived well packed. Complete, full. Memory device operates as an external power supply and battery. Stick a 16 GB swallowed without a problem. Excellent quality images and video. High detail of objects, numbers of machines. Smooth video with no artifacts. Infrared light is working flawlessly at a distance of 4-5 meters.

Cons: Shaky cap for connectors and memory cards. Flimsy screen - by pressing the control buttons have second hand to support the screen. Arm short, rough mounting and adjustment. Turning the device is not very convenient.

Other: For this price the best device to be found. Compact instrument collected all those essential functions that are needed in everyday life.

Pros: Video is of high quality. I received the parcel well packed and it came in as a complete set. I love the look of this device. Got the "james bond" look.

Cons: It will be good if I can charge the battery at home but it seems we can only charge it in the car.

Other: There are a few Digital Car DVR Camcorder from deal extreme and this is one of the most expensive set. Of course quality comes with the amount we pay for. I love the motion detection function.

Pros: Excellent video quality, true HD, not interpolated. The video is crisp and clear and does an amazing job of capturing detail.
The sound quality is amazing! On other cameras I've had the "buzzing" of electrics when filming a drive...you can hear the buzz when accelerating/decelerating. With this camera the is NONE of that! As a matter of fact, when I played the video back for my family, they thought I'd dubbed music over it, when it was actually just my stereo in my vehicle...it sounds that good. Crisp and clear!
The menus are meaningful, well done, and intuitive. Very configurable...looping can be turned on/off, LEDs can be turned on/off, motion detection on/off, frame rates, etc...all selectable
Date/Time are right in the video at the top.
Contrary to others reviews, the doors for the SD card and the HDMI/USB lock solid and there is ZERO rattling about. Maybe they listened and improved it over previous ones?
Batteries are CHEAP and readily available, look around...a reseller at Amazon had 'em for less than 5 bucks each!

Cons: Aside from the IR LED's not really projecting hard enough to illuminate the road, it still does an outstanding job of capturing night driving, especially in the city.

Other: For the money you won't find a more versatile camera of this quality. I am thrilled with mine and couldn't be happier and would recommend this to anyone looking to capture drive video!

Cons: - Not very good video quality at night (long distance). If you shoot at a distance of 3 meters - infrared LEDs illuminate well.
- In my copy on each roller are audible clicks at intervals of about 2 clicks per second. I think this is connected with the scheme of supply and guess it's just in my copy. But they absolutely do not interfere with recording

Other: I recommend to all!

Pros: Having tried other cameras for car recording, I decided to stick to this one. It is actually HD, without a re-sampling like with other cheaper cameras. Quality is very good during any time, both day and night. Uses BL-4C battery (used also by Nokia phones), which is widely available. Recording starts automatically on power on. Cool looking. Recording state is clearly visible, positioning is easy because of LCD screen. Can replay recorded video on LCD (also HDMI).

Cons: 3 seconds' gaps between files, so buy at least 2G card for this and set 15-min recording interval between changing files to minimize overall gap probability. It's not USB-powered, but uses its own connector. (It's obviously a 5V-powered device, so you can make your own spare cable from any Car-to-USB cable if you know how to behave yourself with a soldering iron and can find a spare connector) It uses 1/4" photo tripod thread for handling, so you have to turn it to its place and then tighten it with extra screw. To dismount, you have to unscrew it. Car handler is way too big, it could be much compact. It's also noisy when comes to recording sound. Microphone tends to record more high frequencies than low, so noisy car handler makes horrible clicks when you drive on uneven surfaces. Not a big deal actually, you are unlikely to review your videos anyway, and when you do, you don't have to pay attention to clicks.

Other: Overall, it's as good as it can be for the price. Night recordings are much above my expectation. I've bought it to replace a cheaper camcorder, and I can say that I'm really happy with replacement.

Pros: Good working, nice videos, true HD quality (not that others HD DVR devices costs <50$), the convenient location of buttons, very LONG power cord, USB connection work fine, no problem with my SD HC 8Gb memory card by QUMO,

Cons: Annoying interference with my FM-Radio. I won it by placing feromagnetik cylinder from my web cam. It has on my photos

Other: Very nice camcorder, not sow cheap that I want, by the way, it has good value for money and quality.

Pros: Excellent quality of record HD. A long cord of a food (it is possible to hide under the panel). Easily replaced accumulator BL-4C (if necessary it is possible to insert from phone Nokia). Automatic inclusion of record. Convenient and simple fastening to a windshield.

Cons: Not so high quality of video at night, more than 3 meters without the included headlights - already is visible nothing. On record clicks with a different interval are audible. In an independent mode short work of the video registrar (no more than 1,5 hours).

Other: It costs the money. But if will put more capacious accumulator - it will be invaluable. I recommend the to acquaintances - I have only positive responses.

Pros: 1. 720p is real (no interpolations)
2. 120 deg angle is true
3. rotating screen size is enough for watching recorded stuff on it
4. menu is simple to operate in it
5. control buttons are really useful and intelligibly informs user with it's lights
6. so much options for recording - more than I need :)
7. the power cord is long enough - easy to stretch

Cons: 1. the mounting holder is terrible to use it:
- bolt for screw-thread is fixed so you need to rotate the dvr itself
- btw, i got defective screw-thread on camera, it's gets screwed crookedly and i have to apply a force to fix it
- you can't twist device to the left or to the right (but only on screw)
2. the cover of hdmi/usb makes a noise on recording (crackle) while driving.

Other: I like it. That's my honored recommendation for buying this camcorder.

Other: It is my logger second video. I have ordered the first cheap and have regretted, as video was the bad quality. I have asked DX to change to me it for this with surcharge and they have agreed. I am very happy with service DX that they have responded on my request!
