Handheld 21mm 40X Magnifier with White 2-LED Light (3 x AAA)

Pros: Since you were looking for/at magnifiers why settle for the jeweler's Loupe/ Mini-microscope types. This one is well built, has a good power, easy to hold, the light makes it so much easier to see whatever it is you want to look at....shall I go on? I often find something to slam in a product but even if you think you do not need this for anything else wait until you get a splinter that requires removal. You will thank DX (and me--smile) whether you use it every day or only that once a year situation, as above. As soon as I got it people in the field with me tried to steal it--honest.

Cons: Well, ah, peop[le might try to steal it from you? The batteries will eventually run out. Ah, you need a larger field ot higher magnification? At this price also buy one of these as well.

Other: What more can I say?

Pros: It works! Clear optics, bright LED, well made, looks good, what else is there to say.

Cons: Minor grump over quality of the carry case, should be better quality to match the Magnifier, Sad as it cost one star.

Other: Very good product, carry case should be better.
There is no reason not to buy.

Pros: The optic definition is not wonderful, but is it good enough to watch the skin detail (it is what i use for).
Best value for money!

Cons: The quality construction seems poor (regular plastics), and the batteries run out in less than a week if you uses a lot! (3xAAA per week isn't cheap).

Other: This was exactly what i was looking for. And for the battery issue I prefer to light with an external lantern.
I'm sure you will find a lantern in this site that solves the problem!

Pros: 40x Magnifier do the job when it comes to electronic SMD parts soldering tests and visual soldering checking. LED generates very strong light and it helps a lot, too. Very handy tool and easy accessible whenever it's needed.

Cons: No cons. at the moment.

Other: A must have tool, if you do with SMD parts. Warm Recommendation from my side.
