Handheld Metal Detector with Adjustable Sensitivity and Vibration Alert (MD-3003B1)

Pros: Looks like the real mccoy. Feels like the real deal. Functions like a pro.

Cons: The sensitivity button is too sensitive and one cannot really chose an 'inbetween' sensitivity setting.

Other: Real value for money.

Pros: + Selectable sensitivity levels + Visual output indicator + Physical output indicator + Audible output indicator + Adjustable sensitivity

Cons: - Battery cover seems kinda loose
- Holster seems quite cheaply made
- Something small is rattling inside
- Kinda light

Other: It has even managed to detect the foil inside a cigarette package in someone's pocket, has also detected keys, knives, coins & jewellery. Excellent for use in security where physical body searches would hinder operation.

Pros: 1. It works as advertised.
2. Does everything you need a handheld metal detector to do.
3. Vibration function is nice for when you don't want to alert the person you're scanning.
4. Unbelievable price.

Cons: 1. Holster is a bit cheesy, but should work.
2. Seems to really only scan near the tip.
3. Battery door is a little cheap, but at least it slides - so you shouldn't lose it.

Other: If you need one of these, buy it - I've gone through the first 9V and it doesn't show any signs of wonkiness. Heck - buy one even if you don't need it. It's just cool.

Other: If you need to find the odd thing which has metal in it, or you lose a screw and want to find it, this metal detector is sensitive enough to do it and cheap enough that it is affordable to most people. At this price I think it was worth buying even though I won't always use it.

Pros: This detector can find carcass in the walls, it can detect cent, few cm's away, it cak find stuffs undergroud, or over the grass. It has sound and vibration warnings, that relievs on what are you doing with this detector.

Cons: Little too big, not really necessary for nowadays to use personally. It could find smaller things too...

Other: Fine, solid handheld metal detector,whose helps on finding metal things. You can use it anywhere you need!..

Pros: Good buy. It's very sensitive. Can detect almost all metallic objects. You can use it to probably detect thieves in a shop. For it's price, it's pretty good buy. You can switch to vibrating mode I believe, which I haven't tested.

Cons: You need a permit to import this into Malaysia. Took us quite awhile to receive this item after applying for the permit, etc. And it's successful.

Other: Check with your country if it's Okay. If it is, and you need it, buy it!

Pros: Really works as described, metal objects big enough can be detected 10-20 cm away. It has a switch for really big metal objects detection mode, so not to signal about keys, coins, etc. It has silent mode with vibration. Looks professional =)

Cons: It's rather big. Actually it's OK for security services at some constant place, but not very comfortable to use when you want a mobile metal detector, hard to carry with you.
Sensitivity is good, but it doesn't detect screws, even few cm away. Sensitivity adjust resistor just broke when I tried to make the detector more sensitive, needed to resolder, I don't advice to use that adjust resistor.

Other: Personal usage of this metal detector is doubtful, be sure you understand its size and sensitivity before buy. If that parameters are OK for you, buy it, you won't regret.
