Other: Very good and cheep product. Quality is hight. I use this and similar scanners more than 3 years in small shops (1-3 cash desks). All of them have higher percentage of scaned bar-codes than some branded devices. For example those devices read barcodes from almost any surfaces. But Motorola Symbol very capricious to surfaces and materials of reading. Motorla Symbol cost near 180$-200$US. So is no question about buying this device.

Pros: Good price Reasonable construction and build quality Works on all barcodes scanned. Detects as “USB Input Device” in Windows 7 without any drivers or installation. Outputs codes as if typed by keyboard.

Cons: Very poor English manual Unable to change configuration Most of manual in Chinese. Sometimes fussy about scan angle to barcode. Once plug on cable attached to scanner it is almost impossible to remove.

Other: For the price and functionality a good buy but could really use a better manual. Buy if you just want to scan barcodes in default state as manual does not provide any information on configuration in English.

Pros: The price !!!!! The build quality is ok. It is well assembled. It scans every barcode with ease. Scans through plastic packaging and even glass without any problem. The setting are done with the instruction manual and the barcode inside. really easy.

Cons: The holder is great, but the base is not well thought. It is large and thick, so when you scan, everything touches it. Also, the scanner does not recognise the holder, so there's a barcode to scan in the manual to put it in continuous scanning mode. But it is not practical when you need to constantly switch from hand held to hand free. But for the price... it is not a big deal.

Other: Great price, great performance, great quality... do not buy for the holder if you use it in a store, as it would be useless. I would recommend to anyone looking for a laser barcode scanner.

Pros: Good quality product, functions in a simple way. Just plug in the USB and Windows automatically recognizes now. No need to install drivers. Works perfectly on the bank's website where I own checking account.

Cons: The support that accompanies the product to secure it in position of rest is not compatible. I think it was a flaw in the packaging of my product specifically, but the fact is that the support that came not fit into the Handheld.

Other: Recommended, especially for those who pay many bills online.
