Hard Drive High Performance Transparent Cooling Fan for PC Video Card

Cons: - Fio poderia ser um pouco maior (não é nada que atrapalhe, mas achei meio pequeno).

Other: - Achei uma boa compra, não me arrependo!
- Quem mora em lugar quente, o HD chega a 45º, um desse iria dar uma boa melhorada já.

Pros: - Encaixe perfeito em um HD convencional de 3.5.
- Muito silencioso.
- Melhorou muito a temperatura que chegava a 50° agora bate os 38° em IDLE e 45° em FULL.
- Fácil de instalar.

Cons: - Apesar da facilidade para instalar, poderia vir com um pequeno manual de instrução no próprio encarte.
- A qualidade poderia ser melhor, mas não é nada que atrapalhe o bom funcionamento.

Other: Realmente foi uma otima aquisição. Eu tinha que ficar com o gabinete aberto e com ventilador do lado para abaixar a temperatura do HD, agora o gabinete esta lacrado e o HD esta em 39°.
Recomendo a todos.

Pros: very cheap, cools down my hdd a lot, sturdy build - aluminium, very quiet fan - cant hear it unless i put my ear right next to it, standard molex connection, comes with 4 screws

Other: great product, doesnt cost much and will extend the life of your hdd.

Pros: Cools down the HD pretty well. Easy installation. Moves a lot of air and should do the trick if your HD is in dire need

Cons: I bought 2 of these and they had the same problems: The mounting holes on the metal don't align well with the holes in the HD (the entire aluminum case is about 1-2mm too wide) so I had to hold and squeeze tight while screwing it in. about 5 days after the installation the fans began making terrible noise, which obviously accounts for the poor build quality and/or shafts of the fans. The package says its 30dba but I believe it is noisier than that.

Other: Cheap solution that gets the job done at the price of additional noise. If you're lucky it should work well. If not, then you can always replace the fans or throw it away :)

Pros: This hard drive cooler does exactly what it is suppose to. It bolts to the underside of the hard drive and circulates air to keep the hard drive cool.

Cons: Perhaps different colours could be made available?
It takes up about 20mm of space immediately below the hard drive to which it is attached to. Make sure you have enough room to install this cooler.

Other: If you can hear your hard drive working its' arse off all the time then maybe you need to have one of these hard drive coolers attached to make sure your hard drive doesn't overheat.

Pros: Bought this here because even though you can get these locally for the same exact price, most places want almost the same price of the product for shipping. Since shipping here is free, the price was ok. The metal casing seems pretty sturdy.

Cons: The screws are way too long. It won't fit in my HD caddy at all bc the screws are so big, so...basically this was a waste of a few bucks for me. Also the fan is garbage. 10cfm @ 30db? You've gotta be kidding me. Also the power draw seems a bit high. To be able to use this thing I'd have to find and buy screws, and a halfway decent fan, which would cost more than the unit.

Other: I can't use it due to the screws being too long, so I can't really comment on its efficacy.

Pros: Its pretty quiet. All my fans are around 17dB and adding this in didn't make much of a difference in noise level. I even had my bro hook it up to an external power source and power it on and off to see what the difference is and it was negligible.

Cons: None really. maybe a mobo fan header adapter would be nice. Some rubber grommets would be nice too but that would only push the price up.

Other: If its what you are looking i would buy it. Can't see anything wrong with it!

Pros: - Really cools off the hard disk;
- Silent working (I cant hear it with the cpu case closed);
- Good looking;

Cons: - It is a litle bit (one or two milimiters) larger than the Hard Disk, so you have to force to fit in.
- Power cables are exposed. I supose that if you don't take care enough, the wire can touch the fan and make a really loud noise.

Other: - If you have need to cool down you hard disk, its a good solution.

Pros: This device does what it is supposed to and keeps your drives a llittle cooler by pushing air across the circuitboard. I noticed that the hard drive temp was about 15' cooler within the hard drive monitoring tools and the top of the drive was noticeably cooler to the touch.
Mind you i do have a lot of gear in this case and this was one of a number of things i did to mitigate a lot of heat output from a number of drives. But i can confirm it does do it's job, and reasonably quietly too. It wouldn't matter if it wasn't that quiet as my case is far noisier than this thing will ever be.
Power connector was fine, considering it where it's connected to it won't cause any additional headaches as you just plug this into the drive your using and the psu into this. Unless you have a sata drive then you may have a slight headache with this.

Cons: was a bit fiddly to get to fit, the fact the screws were slightly long didn't bother me at all as i have a decent sized collection of them, and they almost bottomed out when inserted, but somehow managed not to, so i guess that's good enough.

Other: Did what i needed it to do, cheaply and has done so for a new months now without issue.

Pros: Easy to mount. Two fans. Even though my hard drive wasn't fit for this fans, I managed to screw it and get it to work. It maintained my hard drive at a very nice temperature, so it works fine. And I got two fans for the same price i get one here.

Cons: The plastic is a little thin, but it doesn't matter overall. It won't break apart.

Other: Get it. It's cheap, reliable, and prevents heat. What more can you possibly want?
