Hard Plastic Rhythm Maker - Random Color (Pair)

Pros: These are properly called "Castanets", I call them "Clackitty things". They are such fun to play around with, and with practice you can do some very complicated rhythms.

Cons: The elastic strap should be replaced with rubber bands to make sure they snap open quickly.

Other: A great product. Very cheap. I bought 2 more pairs for gifts after I received my first one.

Pros: Sound is loud and clear. Price is great.

Cons: Elastic straps look awful. The ends haven't been done properly. They are hairy and looks worse and worse after every use. Also straps have to be retied because they are not tight enough. One of the castanets doesn't open properly.
The sound is different for both castanets. You can tell it when playing both together. One of them sounds a bit higher.
As they are smooth and shiny, you can easily see all the tiny scratches.

Other: At first I was looking for wooden castanets. I wanted a small rhythm maker for jam sessions. But the price for wooden ones set me off. And then I found them plastic ones for such a lovely price! I think they are great for our amateur jam sessions :)

Pros: Great value for two pieces of music making items. I don't use them much as they where a gift for the father, however I do see them getting used in jams (practice).
Nobody complains and everyone generally likes them
Also even I know how the inner workings of this device works.

Cons: There are no complaints by anyone about this item

Other: Worth the buy if you like music, if you don't, prehaps consider there use for you.
