    Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)

    Pros: Allows me to connect my Ipad to my TV and still charge the Ipad by connecting an USB cable (not included).

    Cons: Initially could not get it to connect to my Ipad without removing the Ipad's cover. It has a very short connector that does not allow it to be plugged into the Ipad with the original Ipad cover still on. After removing the Ipad cover it still had a poor contact and kept failing repeatedly. Finally decided to remove the pink aluminum case and expose the circuit. It worked perfectly after doing this.
    A bit expensive.

    Other: Would not recommend this product. It seems like it wasn't tested before it was released because most Ipad and Iphone (at least the 3 I own) have covers and this product's short connector makes it impossible to use without removing the cover.
    The circuit board inside the aluminum case is a bit loose and in my case I had to remove the aluminum case to make it work. After that got it to work with my Ipad.
