HDMI/F to DVI 24+5/M Adapter

Pros: grab a couple of these to get you out of a spot with your HD TV connections.

Cons: none

Other: recommended for all modern TV connections.

Pros: Very cheap. I would have had to pay at least 5 times as much if I bought it from a local store. Does what it's supposed to do.

Cons: The one I received was slightly crooked (possibly due to shipping) so the DVI plug wouldn't fit at first. But that was easily fixed with a pair of pliers.

Other: At this price I would definitely buy an other one if I needed to.

Pros: - Very usefull!! - you need it if your television does not have a hdmi connector at the back - gold plated, so i think you will have a good electrical connection - build quality is very good

Cons: Not very pretty close up, the metal is kind of bent and the plastic moulding is cheap, but that was no surprise considering the price. It just looks cheap if you look up close

Other: Kind of a cheap looking thing, but it's very cheap and works well as advertised. Just about as small as something like this could ever be. It's just a little ugly, bad moulding, the metal is not beautifuly formed.

Pros: - solid looking with gold anodized metal parts - good quality - durable made of hard plastic - thumb screw for easy tightening and security

Cons: nothing i can think of. i guess stuff can never be cheap enough?

Other: if you have a ps3, get it. it's cheap and you can't go wrong.

anyway you can always use it for future proofing for the day you will buy a 24" high definition capable lcd monitor

Pros: The price is fantastic! the build quality is very good. If you take in your hand, you see that the device is quite heavy so I suppose the components are good. Golden connectors fits good in both sizes.

Cons: None. Perhaps it must have some kind of screws for HDMI connection to avoid disconnecting from, but I think there is nothing similar.

Other: I was quite surprised about the quality of this item, because the price is too low to be as good as it is. If you need an HDMI-DVI adapter, don't hesitate to buy this one.

Pros: Does what it says (converts DVI to HDMI). And that it does fairly sensibly.

Cons: There is one major flaw with this product. It will only work if the port is DVI-I (analog + digital). If it's DVI-D only, the darn DVI side of it won't fit. Since the analog video signal doesn't get passed over HDMI anyway, there's no point in getting this product over one that is "24 + 1" (and since it's not dual-link HDMI anyway... which doesn't really exist except on paper, there's no point in having more than 18 pins on the DVI either!)

Other: If you're connecting to a PC, it probably doesn't really matter. However, if you're connecting to anything else, you might consider going to the SKU 1279 version. In fact, there's no downside to always buying SKU 1279, so... just buy that one instead, since they're the same price.

Pros: I use it for a computer GFX card, so it works extremely well
it fits right into the DVI port on the computer and then it easily plugs into the back of my TV
everything is essentially gold plated, so corrosion won't be much of an issue

Cons: it does have +5 pins, so if you have a device that doesn't have the analog pins, don't get this because it won't fit into the socket.

Other: if you have something that can use it, it is worth while to get.
however, unless you already have HDMI cables, i personally would get the DVI-> HDMI cable, that is cheaper, but you lose out on a normal HDMI cable

Pros: Good construction, cheap. It does what it has to do.

Cons: You will probably have problems with the extra pins.

Other: If you need to connect a XBox 360 to a computer monitor via DVI, buy this! Now!
