HDMI TO DVI Cable for PS3

Pros: Cheap and good cuality.

Cons: Don't work on standard monitor with DVI-D input. Only works in Monitors or Tvs that are "HD Ready" or "Full HD". In my Philips 220CW Don't work.

Other: Ok if you want to connect your PS3 to a TV or Monitor that complains the "HD Ready" or "Full HD" singnals. But it does not work in normal LCD monitors, although they have a lot of resolution, if they do not meet standards specifically eos. In my Philips 220CW, with DVI input, up to 1680x1050 res, don't work.

Pros: Quality is ok, and the cable works (tho not with my PS3, but with my computer).
When connected to my computer I can output 720p to the monitor through this cable, and the monitor cannot handle 1080p, so don't know about that.
The cable works with HDCP, just like my other one.

Cons: Tho the packaging is different, I wasn't able to notice any difference to the cable I have from before (sku.1501), and works the same with the computer.
Did not work with the PS3, but most likely that is because the PS3 doesn't recognize the screen and tries to output 1080p instead of 720p.

Other: The cable is useless to buy, since it seems to be the same as the normal (cheaper) HDMI to DVI cables out there. Did not work with my PS3, but does not seem to be because of the cable.
Also, check your monitor can handle HDCP before you even try to connect the PS3 to it, and that it supports 1080p resolution to make your life easier.

Pros: Super easy to set up, I can now play ps3 on my computer monitor, dont need to unplug to switch back to monitor, a LOT cheaper than what i could find in the stores, good quality

Cons: Took a bit long to get here, but other than that, nothing, i am very happy with this product

Other: I have recommended this to friends for their ps3's instead of buying the stupidly expensive ones in the stores. I have used this almost every day for at least two months and it still stands up.
