HDMI to VGA Video Converter

Pros: It´s easy to install. You must plug and after that it´ll work perfect This gadget is very small, it´s good. You can connect a lot devices like play station and other gadget (DVD player). I connected my digital reciever (isdb-tb) so i can watch tv on my LCD 20´(input VGA) It´s a great solution. It´s very Cheap. In my country i couldn´t find this gadget. I´m going to upload a few photos about it and a video.

Pros: - it is verry small - Quite you will not hear a sound - Great video quality - Supports HDCP up to HDMI 1.3 - Easy to use - Never saw such great converter from china

Cons: If you connect it on a pc HDMI and go to a LCD screen then the screen is a little bit fuzzy but good engough for viewing a video on the screen, but nog good for word processing

Other: Great converter for watching a DVR on a beamer and it's verry usefull for converting HDMI to VGA (duh)

Pros: easely the best priced hdmi to vga converter. Here in my country (Chile) they're almost impossible to find, and if you're lucky enough to find one, they're pricey. these product fulfill all my requirements. I use it to connect my blu ray to an old XGA epson projector. Had my doubts, but the price was so low that y decided to take the risk and it totally worth it, the quality of image is way better than any dvd, even if not full hd, the sharpness and general quality is amazing (if your blu ray don´t do it automatically, you'd have to downscale the image if you send the signal to an xga projector)

Cons: can't see any, maybe it could be a little more sturdy, but quality seems rough enough for me

Other: at this price, you can't go wrong. Buy it!

Pros: - Lighweight - Usage is simple as a doorknob. Plug it in, connect the cables, and you're ready to go. - Pretty decent video and sound quality. - The packaging is pretty good. It comes in a good looking cardboard box.

Cons: Looks and feels like I could have paid less for it. The case is made of cheap, thin plastic -- the device has a blue activity LED which shines right through the plasic. The distortion in the video quality is low, but that's not to say you're not going to notice it.

Other: Does what it's expected to do. Build quality is not perfect. Could be cheaper.

Pros: Does what is advertised. Blu-ray player is now connected with a projector lacking HDMI. Very easy to use, just plug and watch. All settings are set from player. Picture is a ok taken the price in calculation.

Cons: Plastic feels even more cheap as the device is. Let see how long it will last...

Other: Seems to do what it is supposed to do. For this price can't go far off when getting this.

Pros: I use it with my vga-projector and it serves the purpose perfectly! The picture quality is way better than I expected, I can run a 1080p-picture through it without any problems. It's a bit expensive but worth every penny.

Cons: A couple of times the device has had some issues with colors and the picture has gone all messy; after booting it will fuction normally again though.

Other: If you have a projector without a hdmi-connection this is a great way to connect a home theatre, PS3 or a Xbox 360 with it.

Pros: I have used it with a laptop with just HDMI out and it works really well. The quality of the product is very high, not only for dealextreme standards, but also compared to a quality-brand product. It is really easy to use, just plug and play (the rest depend on your operating system). It also works all over the world, not only in USA.

Cons: Just USA power plug. I had to buy an adaptor.

Other: Not as cheap as we are used to, but great quality of the materials, great quality of the image and really easy to use, just plug and play.

Pros: Nice product, robust, works great and very easy to use, the image quality is fine, it supprots HD 1080p and it looks great in my ViewSonic PJD5123 projector

Cons: none, be aware that this convert HDMI to VGA and not the other way

Other: I needed this product to connect my cable deco to which has a HDMI output to my projector wich has a VGA input. It works great! Altought its very usefull to connect a xbox or PS3 to the projector or to a simple monitor without HDMI

Pros: Easy to understand, plug and play. Does what it built for. Just plug in power, HDMI, sound and VGA. Blue light on and you get a clear picture. I use it on a plasma screen with no HDMI to get my AppleTv working. Makes a clear picture, good colors and good analogue sound. Does not get hot and has two seconds start up time.

Cons: None, could have been smaller?

Other: A safe buy, I recommend it. As I said, just works like expected.

Pros: Does what it says it does. With this little box I can finally watch Blurays on my projector which does not have an HDMI or DVI input. Picture quality is good. I did not look inside so I cannot comment on the innards, but everything else is OK. I have not tried the audio output yet as I do not need it. Really simple to setup - just plug it in. My computer recognizes it as a 1920x1080 device, but lets me choose different resolutions.

Cons: None so far.

Other: Does a great job for my purpose. Easy to use, relatively inexpensive.
