Heat Sink Thermal Silicone Paste (10cm*10cm*0.1cm)

Pros: Good for heat transfer in medium-low power situations, such as RAM in graphics cards or HDD's.
Quite cheap.

Cons: Depending on where it will be applied, it may be a little thin.

Other: Great if you know what it is used for. Thermal pad is quite hard to find, and a quick look on eBay showed small amounts cost the same as this 10x10cm sheet. Just cut it down to desired size.
Highly recommended.

Pros: This is the cheapest stuff out there and does the same thing as the more expensive thermal pads. I used this to attach a water block to my Radeon HD5850. Works like a charm and the memory clocks very well!

Cons: None I can think of

Other: For this price it's worth of the wait. Just order 2-5 slices of this pad and you will have some storage. Or you can sell one to your friend, when he desperately needs it! :)

Pros: I needed the thermal pad for my notebook. The old thermal pads needed replacement. After cleaning the CPU/GPU+mem and Chipset I applied the thermal pad to the GPU+mem and the Chipset (as originally done by the manufacturer). I cut the thermal pad with a hobby knife, which worked well. The temperature is low as it should be. This pad looks the same as some notebook manufacturers use.

Cons: So far no cons. The product does what it is supposed to do.

Other: Good thermal pad which is fine for replacing old thermal pads on notebooks.

Pros: -Nice and thick
-Well packed in resealable bag
-Seems to conduct heat pretty well

Cons: -Does not have glue surfaces. So the heat sink must be fastened on top of this with screws/clips etc

Other: If you understand where to apply it, this will be great product for you. Otherwise it's better to turn to pros :)

Pros: + Big and nice square (like cheese squares) + Packed in ZIP-bag + Looks like it doesn't conduct electricity.

Cons: No cons right now.

Other: So, if you want to cool down RAM or any non-hot component, buy this!

Pros: This termal pad is great for your old laptop which gpu pad and other pices getting to hot. You can buy a lot and save more. In europe you would pay a lots of money for a little piece. I will change my old pad and have a cool laptop.

Cons: The only con is for me is this pad a little bit too fin. But it is not a really con. I can use it. Another con is maybe you have a hole in your pad and you cant use it on this area. You can see what I mean in my foto

Pros: Its a good size and if you need another size its easy to cut with a cutter.
Usefull with the GPU of the laptop, new or old.
I use it too in electronics components and work fine.
(I have a heat problem with the amplifier of the Home Theater and use this between the circuit and the disipator and work perfect)

Cons: Its little, only 10 x 10 cm, 4 x 4 in, and hight its only 1 mm
don't have adhesive surfaces!!!!!

Other: Usefull. Good build and easy to use.

+ Very good on heat transfer;
+ Doesn't get melt on high temperatures;
+ Can help on laptop maintenance;
+ Easily cut with scissors in the shape you need;
+ Well packed;
+ Very practical on situations where traditional thermal paste isn't applicable.

Cons: - Could come in a bigger piece;
- Doesn't come with adhesive surface;
- Doesn't substitute traditional thermal paste

Other: Worth its price. It's a hard to find item, even in specialized stores.

Pros: + Cheap! about 2 bucks cheaper than the cheapest local alternative (and that's a big difference with a $4 product!). + Accurate description on DX with the sizes in both metric and imperial systems

Cons: - It's not a perfect square (only con I could think of.. and that's some serious nitpicking)

Other: Need thermal pads? Just buy these - you're not going to find cheaper ones and the quality is just fine. If you work at a computer shop or just do a lot of hardware fiddling, buy them in bulk, the discount is great!

Pros: I´ve bought this to repair my old nVidia 8800 GTS - strange lines across LCD after a while signalized overheated memory chips. Instead of buying new card, I've just installed appropriate pieces of subject, and voila! It saves my $$$ and let me dismantle my video card :)

Cons: Not really cons, but mine arrived with two "holes" - some other goods in parcel caused it (see my pictures). Proper packaging may be help avoid this.

Other: Good purchase, I'll probably order some more
