Hexangular PCB Boards for 1W/3W/5W LED Emitter (100-Piece)

Pros: Solid aluminium/aluminum; Looks like heavy 1oz copper pads, good soldermask, polarity marked clearly, mostly good job on the pre-tinned pads. Electrically isolated center die pad. Milling/size is good on hex.

Cons: Some of the tinning on the pads has chipped off/never was there -- chemically treated in large batches probably.

Other: Get some, get many.

Pros: small but enough mass for heattransportation good mounting possibility flexible soldering positions suitable for many types of led big soldering pads enough screw holes

Cons: some manufacturing deviations at solder pads, so the screw can get in contact with energized parts when using metallic screw or the cable ends can get in contact with the bottom part

Other: good and cheap

Pros: I bought these to mount 1W Cool White LEDs (SKU 65220) for a project where I am making solar powered LED lights for my home. I plan to mount these PCBs on a Aluminium heat sink (or a channel if that works out well). - The cost is really low and for me should be enough for making lights for the entire house. - I was pleasantly surprised to find that the top exposed Aluminium portions (near the edges) was coated with a transparent film thereby making it non-conductive. - The batch I got were well made - I was a bit apprehensive since I had read another review saying some were not were formed.

Cons: I wish the top coating was white in color so that it reflects maximum light.

Other: Cheap but very functional product.

Pros: Even with my mediocre soldering skills and aging eyes I am able to successfully solder emitters to these boards. 3 pads are marked minus, 3 pads marked plus. A dab of thermal paste/grease on the underside of your LED is recommended.

Cons: If you're sloppy or not too careful I can see it would be easy to make contact with the aluminum base material. In some places the pre-tinned pads are less than a mm from the aluminum base. Just be careful. Don't use more solder than you have to.

Other: Buy it if you also buy bare emitters. You'll need them. I had originally envisioned using thermal paste to attach tiny nuts or washers to my LEDs as heat sinks, but these stars are so much easier! If you need even more heat sinking, attach the bottom aluminum surface of the star to another heat sinking surface.

Pros: Good qualyti easy to solder it! All connection good insulated. No problem with any peace. The surface is clean good for soldering, the labells good and correct and easy to recognise. The surface good geometri have, beter than other products in my practis. Good the connection with two different led bulbs type. The back is clean godd for adhesives, easy to take on metal surfaces.

Cons: Wery quck using suggest, because the surface looks as oxidizing surface

Other: good company.

Pros: Really affordable price really solder sticks where it's sopposed without messing around with a lot of fluss Quality is generally no problem with these hexangular pcb's

Cons: The silk screen has been of with a few of the pcb's not centered correctly but they are still usable

Other: Really cheap good quality pcb's for LED 1-5W beads
