- The magnifying glass has good extension

Cons: - The base is very light, and depending on the curvature of the stem of the lamp, she turns

Other: I tried similar products in Brazil, besides being more expensive, were larger and not very practical. Even with the delay of delivery, the product is worth the investment.

Pros: This unit seems OK for the price, I ordered it because I needed a little more light for my old man eyes to work on smaller items like soldering and circuit board stuff. The LEDs are bright, and they work well but the magnifying lens is plastic, and seems to have a flat spot in the middle of it so it magically turns everything viewed through it into a donut shaped object. This renders the unit useless as a magnifying tool for me. I am keeping it as it is a good USB light, but I will be ordering a different magnifying device.

Cons: The plastic lens is horrible, practically useless for magnifying anything. It makes this device not worth the money if you are looking for a lighted magnifying tool, but if ll you need is an LED desk lamp, it will serve that function well. The battery function wors, but the LEDs are not as bright as when the unit is plugged into my PC's USB ports.

Other: OK value for the money, not happy that mine has a crappy lens.

Pros: Two light intensitys (high light & low light), the higher is really strong! Nice build quality. The cable size is enoght. Work with batteries and USB. I use it only as a lamp in my desktop, and its's incredible bright for read and study. I bought that because the futurist style.

Cons: It's a little expensive to use only as light. I don't need the magnifier.

Pros: it is a good lamp with two modes of lighting. it can run on batteries and on the usb cable but if you count it is neserly a 4.5v for the lamp to run and most of the mobile phones usb charger are working on 5v so you can put usb yu got with the lamp in there and it is working normaly on both modes :D I have tried :D

Cons: only con I gut is that magnifier is bad thing it is not working at all, but what a heck :D lamp is great :D

Other: bottom line it can run on batteries on usb on laptop/computer but it can run on usb adapeter which provides 5v, only thing that is bad is that magnifier glass which is more blure than magifing :D
