Pros: Very bright light. Beam is focusable, meaning that you can go wide beam or narrow by rotating the aparature. It's lightweight which is important since you'll be wearing this on your head. The headstraps are soft and comfortable and adjustable and are elastic to ensure that it fits on your head properly. There is a foam pad where the unit sits on your forhead, which is good so it does not slip around if you get sweaty, and it's comfortable so no hard plastic rests there. The build seems solid, good plastic, good rubber covered click button to turn the unit on. It can be adjusted up and down while you wear it by a pivot.
Cons: No Cons to report.
Other: Buy a few of these, you will use them. Keep them at the ready, or buy them for friends who are into working with their hands. They will thank you :)

Pros: optimal for hands-free flashlight if you want to be hands free and still illuminate something, this lantern is ideal for this. she even has a setting that you can use to improve the position of the light spot that is also adjustable. otima lanterna para mãos livres se você quer ficar com as mãos livres e ainda assim iluminar alguma coisa, essa lanterna é ideal para isso. português: ela ainda tem uma regulagem que você pode usar para melhar a posição do foco de luz que também é regulável.
Cons: nothing yet. portugûes: nada ainda.
Other: Elastic straps have good regulation and the flashlight is really good. português: as cintas elasticas tem boa regulagem e a lanterna é realmente boa.

Pros: - very inexpensive - simple to use, simple to replace batteries - fairly light--all plastic - focusable beam. Can't find that feature in most headlamps at any price, let alone a <$7 one. - pretty bright for $7. - because no rear battery pack, good for reading while lying down - High, Low, and strobe. Just the right # of modes. - with beam at its widest, spot is fairly big and useful
Cons: - for a simple, basic headlamp, it's kind of bulky. It fills most of the jacket pocket I put it in. - sharp dropoff past edge of beam. goes from bright to completely dark. Not really a problem though, since spot is a decent size. - kind of cheap plastic, but hey, $7. - narrowest beam projects a clear image of the square emitter, complete with 4 bonding wires - straps are short. I have a small head for an adult male, and the straps are just a bit uncomfy even with them adjusted to maximum size. If you have a big head, you'll find these straps tight.
Other: I bought this as a headlamp to keep in the pocket of the jacket I wear to take the dogs out to pee and poo at night. I need both hands free to pick up the poo. This headlamp does the job. It's bright enough, the switch is firm enough that it won't turn on accidentally in the pocket (like my last headlamp did), and it's so cheap that if anything goes wrong with it, I won't care. I would never consider this my primary headlamp, but it's fine as a backup or as a specific-use light like what I use it for.

Pros: The light is extremely strong. The difference between zoom out and zoom in of the beam is great. Three head straps compensate the fact the batteries and the lamp are on the same side.
Cons: Build construction seems to be good until you start using it. I was in the middle of working with it on my head when it turned off. When shaking it came back to life, and went off again after a few minutes. On one hand the light heats up and on the other the welding of the wires is very weak. One of the wires that supply the power to the led just disconnected and, as there is no access to the led, it cannot be reconnected.
Other: I'm looking for a new headlamp, as this one stopped working after one hour of use. I won't buy this one again. DX has lots of great headlamps, compare before buying.

Pros: - The light is surprisingly bright, and it has a great focusable beam. - The price is very inexpensive. It costs lower than 7$, and that's pretty amazing. - For small everyday tasks, it is very easy to use(and the price I must say(again) is amazing).
Cons: - Chopped (setting) that holds the headlamp up is very weak, making it coincide with one or several notches during a jog. - Head lamp is characterized by poor build quality, because of bad cheap plastic. The cuts, which adjusts the height of the headlamp is very weak. - The straps on the headlamp is so short that I can not believe anything else, than that the headlamp is designed for small children (6-16 years). - With the straps pulled out to maximum, they are so tight that it is detrimental to wear a hat on underneath.
Other: If you are not very poor, it is a bargain. Perfect for use in gifts.

Pros: strong one led light, with zoom, good size headband, easy to replace batteries
luz forte com um led brilante, tem zoom, o elastico pra cabeça não fica largo prende bem da pra andar de bike tranquilo sem perigo de cair, facil de trocar as pilhas
Cons: cheap plastic build, the inclination adjustment is weak and move when u walking or riding bicicle i put a velcro in mine and now is good!!
plastico meio vagabundo, o ajuste de inclinação é ruin e fica se mexendo quando vc anda ou pedala, tive que colar um velcro pra ficar preso na posição reta sem se mexer
Other: pretty good for the price!!
bom pelo preço recomendo!!

Pros: The lamp is very good with a bright setting a slightly dimmer setting and a flash setting. The unit itself is reasonably robust and has held up well having been used indoors for reading at night and also worn while doing cabling work underneath the house.
Cons: The attached strap needs to be wider as it constantly falls out of the slots. In the end I abandoned the three strap approach it was supplied with and only used the one band that wraps around my head and it works better. Ideally the strap should be replaced.
Other: Great headlamp, very bright, but do not count on using the included headstrap.

Pros: This lamp is quite cheap. It is very easy to use. Press button once for bright light. Press once more for dimmed light and the third press for flashing light. One press more to switch the light off. Very easy to use zooming by pull out the lens.
Cons: Straps are too short. Quality of this lamp is variable. I have bought totally four of these lamps and only two is working. DX sent me two new lamps to replace those defective lamps, but they were also defective. So I have now totally 6 lamps but only 2 is working.
Other: Good lamp if you get a working one. I do not buy anymore these.

Pros: I have this and HA-III Cree SSC P7-C (SKU 29489). For commuting in urban it great for 1/10th the price of 900 Lumen HA-III Cree SSC P7-C (SKU 29489). it light and pretty cheap. . . just buy some rechargeable "AAA".
Cons: Only if it came in "AA" rather than "AAA". Stick out a bit more than the 2 AA LED Headlamp 1W LED (SKU 1290 )
Other: If your thinking about the 2 AA LED Headlamp 1W LED (SKU 1290) - DON'T!!! I Bought 3 of the 2 AA LED Headlamp 1W LED (SKU 1290 ) for the car/camping/tool box and for the performance get SKU 42424 it a bit cheaper and better!
