The effect out is 200mW, not 3000mW. But still this is 4 times stronger than ordinary and should give you better transmitting signal.

Other: Great product once I found the correct driver. Price is reasonable, you get both the radio unit and the antenna.
I think you should get double range using the enclosed antenna. I am going to try it using a dipole next.

Cons: None, in my opinion Only the numbers in the description are wrong: the wi-fi chip's output power is 200mW (read somewhere in the Internet, still 2-6 times more than in other wi-fi chips). The antenna is, I think, 8-10dbi, as it is much smaller than my 14dBi TrendNet wi-fi dish. By the way, the info on one side of the box my wi-fi came in says the antenna is 16dBi, and the other side says it is 18dBi :-)

Pros: Easy to connect and Windows XP and Windows 7 detects it immediately.

Cons: Driver that comes with DOES NOT WORK. The other reviews regarding driver from ArgTek site and RalinkTech site is bang on. You will need those drivers for the 3070. Worked perfect on first try on XP but as found along with others through Internet often will not work with Windows 7 unless you uninstall and reinstall your FIREWALL after you have properly installed all Ralink 3070 software (which is the chipset in this as with many others).

Other: You get a USB wireless receiver setup that I have now tested and made work with XP and Win 7. Reasonable price. Fast shipping. I was always happy with DealExtreme and I have found they ship faster than ever now.

Pros: Great software (Once you find the correct one to download!)

Cons: I discovered that if you open the antenna, and shorten the antenna lead so that it is only 20cm long, you get much better gange! To do this you need a screwdriver, pliers and a small star screwdriver. I got from 60% signal to 80% signal from removing the long lead. Rather use a thick USB extension cord, I use a 3m long USB cable of thick and good quality.

Other: Great product, I get 80% signal compared to 0% signal without using this product. I get connection over 2km using this product in free sight! Transmitting power is 200mW and could be more, but if the other end is 50mW you may not need more anyhow.
