Pros: This is a very handy device since it supports packet injection and is based on the sturdy well supported realtek 8187L chipset.it also supports access point mode wich is a handy feature and tends to respond well when used in conjunction with a 45 meter usb extension unlike other wireless adapters which will not work at all at such a distance from the host machine. it also boast's a 27dB Broadcast power
Cons: I only had 1 Problem with this unit, when i executed an "aireplay-ng -1" attack the device would associate once then drop back to command line. the other possible let down is it receive sensitivity is not so great but with a high gain antenna such as (SKU 25542) 14 dBi flat panel antenna it works fine
Other: a cheap reliable device. a very good starter for a new network auditor or just someone who needs more range and flexibility

Pros: This is a SWEET adapter. The reception is the best I have seen. To give you an idea how strong it is. I have a PC using an Atheros PCI adapter. I have a Cantenna (very strong directional wifi antenna) connected to it. I was getting 2-3 bars signal strength to my AP using a good piece of hardware and very strong antenna. When I used the stock antenna on my Atheros card, I was getting only 1-2 bars and was losing my connection at times. I simply plugged this G-Sky adapter into the USB port and my Windows 7 64 bit system immediately recognised the chipset and installed the generic Realtek 8187L 64 bit driver. I then pulled up the available wireless connections and this adapter was showing 5/5 bars signal strength for my AP! I was also seeing at least 10 networks I had never seen before! I connected to the AP and I am getting significantly more wireless bandwidth as well. I couldn't be happier with the performance of this adapter. I already have had 2 friends order one as well. This has a removable antenna on it connected to a standard reverse SMA connector. I can only imagine what kind of range I would get if I connected my cantenna to this adapter. It comes with an english/chinese getting started guide that actually was mostly a tutorial on using the Backtrack Penetration test bootable CD with this adapter. The Realtec 8187L is arguably the best USB adapter compatible with Backtrack. Mine came with a full size and a micro sized cd that I didn't even use since Windows has drivers for this chipset already.
Cons: The adapter is smaller than I imagined based on the photos and even for it's size feels VERY light. Being as light as it is, I cannot imagine the plastic shell is very strong, so I advise treating it gently. I can't think on any other cons however.
Other: Get this. You will not be sorry.

Pros: It does what intent to do: amplifies the wi-fi signal reception. It has a 1 meter USB cable to positioning the antenna in a better place.
Cons: In my case, both discs were useless: my DVD/CD reader didn't recognized the only one with the drivers! Then I had to download the drivers on Internet (GSky site + realtek site) and uncompress them. Hard work.
Other: My notebook has a built in wireless device and the wi-fi signal were always weak. Now, with this GSky the signal is strong and steady.

Pros: Easy to use once you get it set up. Works! Can be used with Backtrack. Came with backtrack and preinstalled driver disc.
Cons: Seemed a little light, could possible be broken easily it dropped from 4 feet on a hard surface. First CD(mini cd) only had drivers for 98-Vista, going to Realtek's website and getting the driver worked. Every once in a while it stops working and needs to be unplugged and plugged back in again.
Other: I'm using it on my laptop for extended range, even though my laptop already has a wireless card, so far it has worked great.

Pros: This item is amazing! it haves a very strong signal and don't lost the connection. This is the only one that worked with 100% signal on my room , before i have tried 2 edup dongles and 1 rtl pci card and none can get with more than 30% signal power and constant lost of connection. O sinal é muito forte, funciona muito bem mesmo! vale a pena comprar!
Cons: for me this item is perfect!
Other: the best i have found! If you want a good adapter this is your choice!

Pros: A have this USB WiFi adapter for 2 months now. It works as expected. Has very strong reception. To install in Windows you need the driver on CD that comes along in the box. LINUX - backtrack 3 CD is also provided. There card doesn't need any installation. The chipset is REALTEK 8187 and it is compatible with Linux and Windows. This device can be put in MONITOR mode to sniff network traffic.
Cons: Really none. Build quality seems a little light. Espacially how antena connects to the chassy. It could possible be broken easily it dropped from 1 m on a hard surface.
Other: I would recommend this for everyone that uses USB WiFi. The device has really strong reception. It also catches very weak signals and allowes you to enter the network without being dropped off (ejected from network after a sort of period of time as on my build in WiFi). The price is really good. If you use this article for wifi penetration technique, the BACKTRACK CD comes with the device, meaning that the product shall operate under LINUX.

Pros: Amasingly sensitive receiver compared to notebook internal wifi or usb stick type wifi devices. Picks up 12 APs compared to only 3 from laptop internal wifi. Also have sku 20646 - performance is identical, while this one is cheaper.
Cons: Build quality (external) is definitley poorer than SKU 20646. Instructions are in Chinese only, so if you need instructions - this may not be for you. Driver disk (mini CD) was nearly unreadable - got there finally after many retries.
Other: Neither this or SKU 20646 appears to be genuine G-SKY product, but they work well.

Pros: Have received this adapter in 13 days. Nice price. It comes in very handy if you don't have wifi in your laptop or on the pc. My laptop wifi wasn't too good in the attic, so i decided to buy this little thing, to upgrade it. I could have bought a new router (N spec) or fit in an old router, but this is much handier for on the go use with my laptop. It's nice and small, you can turn the flashing led off if you want. Nice setup and included wifi manager (Realtek). Gives about 20 dBm increase in Netstumbler 0.4.0 over my build in Intel 2200BG wifi. I've got the one with the 5dBi antenna (small round stick). Receives much more networks, and has about 10-15% more signal. Maybe the more expensive models have even better chipsets and antenna's but i think this fits my need.
Cons: Chipset isn't known by me. Could be a RTL8187L, or RTL8187B. I've got it on a Mac OSX 10.5.8 with the L driver, but the mini driver cd included in the box says it's a B. Maybe i'll open it up later this month or do a check on linux. Too bad it's very light, a bit heavier would have been handy. Fits in my laptop bag, but i need to unscrew the antenna everytime i'm leaving, so another system or retractable antenna had been nice. So therefore not the full 5 stars. Manual is very, very short. The manual from the GSKY link website doesn't contain that much info either. SKU 20646 is TAIWAN made, and contains a better chipset they say. You'll pay 5 bucks more for that. Mine is China made, and could be a RTL8187B, but i'm not planning to return mine.
Other: Nice wifi adapter, good price. There are rumors that this is a cheap knockoff from real GSKY-link versions, but i don't care, because it works and comes at a nice price. Similar wifi adapters cost upto 100 euro's at my local shop and do nothing more i guess.

Pros: Great unit for price. Purchased a similar unit
from DX for twice the price for same performance
Lightweight, Single USB hook-up great for old
laptop. Great difference from PCMCIA Card or
Internal WiFi. Seems to have a Realtek-chip,
ran with same driver as Other unit.
Cons: Delivery time was a bit slow, but worth the wait.
a little light on construction. Instructions where
worthless, But did come with backtrack 4.
Other: Dollar for Dollar you cannot find a unit
that has this Capability on the shelf in The States.

Pros: Great Adapter. very easy to use and works itself when plugged in. Gives you awesome range from wherever you are in the house and the connection is always excellent!! installs updates itself. I have windows 7
Cons: the usb connection to the adapter is a little loose. had to tape mine but if you dont move it then its fine.
Other: very good adapter for the your pc and also a massive boost of signal strength for you laptop. a must get product!
