High Temperature Tape (10mm x 10m / 300-C)

Pros: Use to shield metal parts from getting solder on them, seems to work so far.

Other: Useful for other things, like wrap it around contact spring that wasn't fitted properly so it doesn't fall out.

Other: This is the tape that the industry use mainly for taping the temperature sensor into metal. It should be able to withstand the temperature range of the sensor probe. The tape thickness are ok, and should not hinder or impair the usage. You should be able to find a good use for them later on, so you better buy it from DX while they still have it. The other SKU only claim 200C but this one can withstand up to 300C. There is no way I can test this performance though, but it always good to be in the safe side, right?

Pros: I bought this because all of the temperature sensors in my computer build have been falling off where I taped them (I used electrical tape). This will hopefully work much better. It is a cheap fix to a lot of frustration of constantly re-taping.

Cons: None so far.

Other: It sounds like it may come in handy for taping temperature sensors and also covering some circuit boards where you don't want to mess up while you're soldering. Would have come in handy when trying to mod my xbox 360 controller (I broke the led and right trigger button :( ).

Pros: Nice product, you can use it to hold temperature sensors on metal. It should withstand the temperature up to 300 degrees to be used with sensors in higher temperatures.

Cons: None i think, can't mention anything what could be wrong about it.

Other: Affordable price, nice to have it at home. Good for electromechanics. Use in places where plastic tapes are not a good choice regarding to higher temperatures. Price is OK, as it is common to all DX products:)

Pros: The best thing about this tape is that it really works well under high temperatures! I needed some to fix a contraption involving pumped air and a heater rod that gets very hot (I estimate over 400 Celsius at the business end). The tape did not even shrink! At those temperatures, regular masking tape loses its color, then shrinks, then starts to melt or worse yet - catches fire.

Cons: None really, except maybe color. You are stuck with black, which may not be suitable if you are taping something 'exposed' - where transparent might work better. But it's not a big deal.

Other: Recommended to have around for a quick repair job, or DIY electronics. Any project that uses a thermal sensor (diode, thermistor, whatever) can benefit from this! Also good to stick a high-range thermometer to a workpiece in various hobby areas.

Withstands the heat from my soldering iron
Can be used to isolate semiconductors from heatsink.
Is not electrically conductive

I didn't need it when i ordered it, but i became usefull the day after i got it :-)

Pros: Kapton tape for a great price. I've heard people complaining about receiving tape with garbage on the sides sticking to it or stuck labels, but I have none of those problems. The 2 rolls I received are spotless.

Cons: Can't really think of any cons here. It's tape. How hard is it to mess it up?
