Pros: I used this motor in 2 of my 450 helicopters. Firest flight I was wondering how long the lipocell has power and the heli is still in the air.
After flight the motor was only handwarm :) so I plugged in the 2ed lipocell adn tryed a little bit harder but after landing it was the same, the motor was only handwarm.
Very good motor I think, I have two of this motors an I am going to order one more fore me and one for a buddy zhat jaust started with helicopterflying.
Why do I haver to write about 500 characters?
Cons: ...can not find one ;) it is really good quality and has a very cool design black and chrome.
Other: cu and good N8
Involvement Level: Expert (understands the inner workings)
Pros: -Small -Powerfull -Well packaged -Came with nice connectors (see: http://dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.12993) and heatshrink tubing for the connectors.
Cons: Not a con, but time will tell if the bearing will last. :)
Other: Sure works for me, I ordered a second one in case my brother wants to convert his RC car too! It's like two upgrades in one! (power + battery life)

Pros: this motor was recommended by a friend who was guiding me on a 450 helicopter build. it came with all the necessary hardware and i liked the allen screws to mount the motor on my heli. my original ones were phillips. it run's smooth and did not have any vibrations on my helicopter. it was luke warm to the touch even with the blades spinning at 80% for 5 minutes of flight. the Kv on the motor said 3600 instead of the advertised 3800. that to me was a bonus because it matched my 14T pinion gear much better
Cons: advertising the specifications needs to be more accurate (ie the 3800kv on the website vs the 3600kv rating marked on the motor when it arrived). that however was to my advantage because i needed a 3500kv motor for my setup and this was close enough
Other: great motor and you can't beat the price

Pros: I have four of these motors on my 450 class Heli's. They perform well and I love them over several "other" motors I have tried. So much so, that I rebuild them when neccessary. I fly around a lot of dusty places and increased bearing wear is a result. Also have replaced the shaft with my self built ones. All you need is a quality 1/8" stainless steel rod stock and a dremel. :-) I used sealed bearings for replacement bearings. They are great little motors!!! Draw some amps so use a 30 amp Controller at least. I use 40 amp with no problems of overheating at all. Even in solid 3d flights. 2200 mah 20C minimum battery.
Cons: Little bit weak at clip point on shaft. Easy fix if you break in crash though. Takes a good crash to break. :)
Other: Can't go wrong with this motor. All parts needed are included to prepare to plug into your brushless controller.

Pros: This motor comes with all the necessary accessories - banana connectors, screws, washers (which I didn't use), a 13T pinion and its set-screw. It arrived in great shape, shiny and flawless.
I decided to use this to upgrade my Blade 400 (450-size). The heli appears to have been fitted with a 400-class motor - a thin shaft and no turbine on the back. So I ordered this.
My fix is a success, the heli is much stronger now. But it didn't come without pain, see the cons.
Cons: The motor is not intended for a B400, so consider this irrelevant if you have some compatible heli, I guess it would be a T-rex.
First of all, I needed to get the engine mounting off the old motor. This was a PITA since they must have used epoxy of some sort for the thread-locker. I recommend that you buy an extra engine mounting if you want to do this upgrade. But then, the two screws that came with the motor to fix it to the mounting were too short. I solved this by drilling recesses in the diameter of the heads into the mounting until I got about 3.5mm of the threadings poking out of the opposite side. You could buy some strength screws of the size M2.5×10 to avoid this.
Next I had to file the flattening on the shaft for the set-screw so that it would reach nearer to the clip. I finally had to file away about 1.5mm of the teeth on the pinion from the top so that it wouldn't hit the lower autorotation wheel of the helicopter.
Other: If you need serious power for your model, look no further.
