Pros: This folder reminds me of the crysknife from Frank Herbert's Dune. It gleams with a pearl like shine. A strong steel liner lock engages when the blade is opened fully. Teflon-like plastic washers are between the blade and frame. Packaged in a plain cardboard sleeve box and wrapped in a foot of foam padding. Very secure and sturdy not likely to be damaged in shipping.
Cons: The wood scales are cheaply varnished but thankfully they can be unscrewed and removed. The finish on the steel is rather plain.
Other: Buy at least one, just don't give out too many to your friends so your still on top of the game. Super Tech Cool! Lets have some more characters for Deal Extreme's Limit. I can cut an envelope with this knife. I can shave my finger nail easily. Its not getting dull. Wish there was a pocket clip now that the wood is gone. Can't tell if this is good enough but it'll have to do.

Pros: Interesting knife, best compared with the black-bladed ceramic knife (28878). The handle of this one is heavier, being steel rather than mainly aluminium, but is even more comfortable as most of what touches your hand is wooden. Despite the heavy handle and light blade it feels good in the hand. The blade of this knife is, obviously, a different colour. It is a kind of ivory white, not pure white. I am told these non-sintered white ceramic blades are more brittle than the black ones, but I haven't pushed it that hard yet. The blade is sharper than the other knife - it is hollow ground and is just about what I would call razor-sharp: I can shave hairs off the back of my hand with it. The build quality is pretty good - the various fasteners seem better than the black knife. The handle appears to be riveted together, where the black knife had hex screws which were supplied a bit loose. The wooden handle pieces seem nicely finished but might benefit from a bit of furniture wax/oil. The action of the blade is not so loose, which will please people who are worried about it accidentally opening in their pocket - this one won't but the black one just might, depending how you had it adjusted. Luckily this knife has a fingernail notch in the blade, making it easy to open. The overall impression is of a comfortable, well-made knife with a good smooth opening/closing action, a strong positive lock action and a weird white blade which looks like plastic but cuts like ceramic.
Cons: On the one I received has a very large heel to the blade, which means the effective (that is, the sharpened) blade length much shorter than the black-bladed knife. This one is effectively about 70mm where the black one is 82mm. Luck of the draw, I guess - the one pictured here has a *much* smaller heel. The white blade is thinner than the black one. This, the sharpness and the brittleness make it more a craft knife than the black blade. As my black-bladed knife gets more and more use I'm realising it's a better general-use knife than I expected. I have NOT dared twist or lever with it like I might a steel blade but it has survived a lot so far.
Other: Very good, sharp knife for detailed or light use. Comfortable and smooth in use and I would expect it to last well (barring breakages due to ham-fisted handling!). The white blade really takes some getting used to, tho'.

Pros: I had seen a similar ceramic knife like this and I thought it was cool, so I bought this one here because it's cheap. - Easy to fold/unfold, cuts very well and it can be used to eat meat. - The product was put in a box, enough space to put the knife in it, and small plastic bag (opened). - The point of my blade is very sharp, just put your finger on it and you bleed like h*ll. I didn't try this, and I don't recommend you to.
Cons: - As I said before, it's easy to fold/unfold, and there's a "but" to it. There is a tiny point of metal that rubs against the ceramic. I fear that it may wear off the ceramic, then the metal preventing the blade from folding could just trouble you next time you want to use your knife. - My blade is a tiny bit broken where it cuts, near the middle. It just ruins the perfection of the crafting, that's too bad. - I think it's due to humidity or crafting, but the wooden pieces are a bit black. I find it pretty cool but it's not exactly what you see in the picture, so you may be disappointed by that. - Since I have tons of tools in my bag, I really would have appreciated a clip on the knife to get my hand on it easier. Well you still can attach a strap, but that's a pain.
Other: I'm really satisfied by this product. I recommend it if you go to places like woods and you want to cut annoying plants that get in your way, for example. Oh, and if you eat with your knife, don't forget to wash it before and after using. Plants are not tasty.

Pros: Good blade, holds its edge for a long period of time, sharp straight from the box Nice feel in hand, good weight, shape etc Looks good
Cons: Brittle blade (not really a con, is expected from a ceramic blade) Locking mechanism on mine can be a little bit hard to operate Varnish on wood is not to everyone's taste
Other: Even if you have no real use for it you should still consider owning it. For the price I doubt you will find a better ceramic

Pros: Great to have knife like this at this price. It is very clean and will not leave a metal taste on your food. These knifes stays sharps for along time. good for cleaning small game and fish. I bought a few of these for my brother in laws and cousins for a hunting trip.
Cons: May be brittle and not up to rough abuse. Knife locking mechanism is somewhat sticky.
Other: Wonderful knife for the price and a great gift but it does come in a white box.

Pros: It's obviously very sharp. It has simple workings, meaning less can break. Looks kind of good as well.
Cons: The "wooden" inlays are not exactly lining up with the edges of the knife. It doesn't bother during use, it's a minor aesthetic flaw.
Other: Good buy!
