Huawei E1750 3G USB Modem

Pros: Very nice build, it's an OEM, mine came with Wind Italy branding. Nice color LED to indicate connection. No need for driver CD or whatsoever, the device works as a CD-ROM with the drivers included. The micro-sd card reader is a nice bonus. Speeds are awesome. I have switched off my Wifi connection and I am writing from the 3G connection, working absolutely fantastic. I have had with me a VIVO modem before and it was slow as hell anywhere I connected from. This one is working as fast as ADSL with a TIM Brazil prepaid chip (put to test, will switch back to my ADSL via wifi). The modem is branded, but unlocked.

Cons: CAP! Why is there a cap ? It is just to be easily lost. There is a slot for a cord to hold the cap and the body of the modem, but it is not included, so no good.

Other: If you need a 3G modem, buy this one!

Pros: I was pleasantly surprised by this 3G modem - it worked right from the box with all three carriers in Lithuania - Omnitel, Tele2 and Bite. Inside is a "Mobile partner" program (I am using it with Windows 7 laptop), which allows easily to set up connection profile and connect. Program also allows to see usage statistics (info on how much data was received is especially helpful to me, as I have 1 GB limit). Program has build-in phone book and a way to send SMS. I was easily send mass SMS to a list from a phone book - very helpful. Also, I like an option to add memory card to it, but have not used that yet.

Cons: Price could be a bit lower and SMS cover feels cheap. Other than that - great product!

Other: Buy it! I am buying a second one for my office :)

Pros: Cheap Works as expected right out of the box. If you don't need to track how much data used, you don't even need to download drivers.

Cons: Need to download the generic software if you want to track usage, but who cares? it's 50% off the price in singapore

Other: Get it if you need a 3g dongle. It's really a steal at this price

Pros: It's much cheaper than if I were to buy it from stores in Singapore, though you would probably have to wait close to a month. This USB dongle gives better upload speed than most others found in DX.com. And my dongle looks far sleeker than that one shown in the picture!

Cons: When plugged in, my USB dongle brings up a Mobile Partner application in German language. Not to helpful for a first-timer with no German background. Managed to get it to work somehow though.

Other: It works, and it's cheap.
