What is Bulk Rate? BulkRate is a semi-wholesale system with items priced separately from retail. When you use bulk rates, a flat $1.70 registered air mail fee will automatically be added to your cart to ensure delivery of package. While BulkRate's intention is to offer cheaper prices when you buy in bulk, because it is priced separately it on occassions show a higher than retail price. That's why we ask you to enter BULKRATE as a coupon code to manually activate the rates. You can always opt not to use the bulk rates. If you are looking for wholesale prices please feel free to contact us.

Pros: Once I got the configuration right it works great. Picks up 3G signal even where my phone goes dead (same operator - Oi Brasil). Wifi connection is stable and easy to use.
Cons: Although my carrier is listed for automatic configuration, the settings are several years old. I had to configure it manually with the settings from my usb modem.
Other: If you're tech savvy, it certainly a great buy. Otherwise, try to find other owners who use your carrier and find out if auto-config will work.

Pros: A portable router with a fully controllable Linux system in your pocket is a really good idea. The ethernet plug makes a great value addition compared to other wireless-only tethering gadgets.
Cons: Even in the mild scandinavian climate I live in, i.e. about +20°C, the router overheats in less than an hour. When this happens it turns itself off & is impossible to turn back on before it has cooled down. What's worse; Although I tried fairly hard & hold an electrical engineering degree, I never got the 3g connection working on the firmware the router was delivered with.
Other: Unless you have very easily satisfied demands (such as liking to look at flashing leds), this is likely $68 down the drain. If you're lucky, the thing might work for quickly checking your mail.
