i-SmartSim 2008 SIM Card Unlock Attachment for Nokia and Most Other Cell Phones

Pros: Brilliant works perfect in my Nokia 6151, unfortunatley I don't have any other phones - that are locked to test it out! Tried in my Nokia N95 - but thats unlocked anyway! They are the same size as a simcard, and come in a hard plastic case

Cons: You have to cut the simcard which is not a problem as most of the simcard is just normal plastic - just make sure you don't cut the metal chip.

It means you LOSE the simcard no. (starts with 8944 in UK) and sometimes you need that.

Other: Brilliant price & product.

For the same price on ebay, I can get almost 3 here!!!!

Cons: - I WAS SO SCARED I WAS GNA BREAK IT COZ ITS SO SMALL AND THIN
- KINDA DIDNT UNDERSTAND AT FIRST
- HAD TO CUT THE SIMCARD NOT THE i-SMARTSIM

Other: - GET IT!
- ITS MUCH CHEAPER THAN THE OTHRS

Pros: -From my collection of phones the only locked one was a Nokia 6630, cut my simcard whacked this beauty in there and hey presto! [poof] no more network(service provider) lock! -Cheap, about 1/3 the cost of the other one right here on Dealextreme! -Good construction, but what is so secret about the chip? the top markings are sanded off!

Cons: none, unless you can't use a pair of scissors to modify sim card

Other: get it asap before they run out!

+ Does the job
+ Works with Nokia 6151 locked to Sonera and Finnish operator Elisa/Kolumbus
+ Without this little helper, Nokia 6151 won't let other card's to operate the phone

Cons: - Sim card needs to be modified a bit but didn't bother me
- Makes sim card half a millimeter thicker which could be problem with certain type simcard holders like "slide in" type.

Other: It does what it is supposed to. If you want to unlock your sim to be used in a locked phone, get this. Even if this doesn't work with your phone, you wont lose much with this price :)

Cons: -Need to cut the simcard which is okay
-Hard to get out of slide in simcard

provider for your phone will work for

Very Cheap you really can't go wrong!

Pros: Good, works on my softbank phone with both T-mobile and cingular.

Cons: It's hard to push the chip in the sliding part with the sim sometimes.
Since the chip sticks out so far, it's a little hard to cut. I used model scissors from my tamiya kit. which have a curved tip.

Other: Overall...Works well, affordable. Easy to use..insert and go. Haven't tried on iphone yet, I'm afraid it's gonna get lost in the unit. It's about as thin as a toilet hygiene sheet, well..maybe a little thicker.
Just be careful with it.
If I needed it for another phone, I would not hesistate to buy this one.

Pros: Very cheap considering, easy to use and simple. i have used on a 7500 prims and it works. Your battery may be raised a bit depending on what phone you have used but it will still work. Mobile outlets charge £5-£20 to unlock phones, but buying this you can use it again and again even if you buy a new phone plus its really cheap.

Cons: There is a small chip on it which makes it a bit thick. but still wont affect working condition. you have to keep it in your phone.

Other: buy it, u got to be rich if you don't, coz its expensive to get your phone unlocked. LOL

Pros: A cheap and easy way to DIY unlock your mobile phone.
Works with a large range of phones - I tried a Nokia 1208 and a Siemens A62 I had lying around and it worked in both.

Cons: Not a permanent once-off unlock method, so you will need 1 i-SmartSim for each phone that you wish to unlock.
To enable both the i-SmartSim and your sim card to fit into some phones may require some trimming of the sim card - this removes your sim card number.

Other: Cheap and effective way to unlock a wide range of popular mobile phones!

Pros: - Its very cheap for what it does.
- It doesnt affect the warranty of the phone by modifying any part of it.
- Its much thinner than expected, and really doesn't add much more depth to the simcard (other than the chip).
- It works on vodafone simcards in locked "three" network phone.
- Works on Nokia N95 8GB without any modification.
-I didn't need to cut out the whole for the chip for use in my nokia n95 8gb, although I will sometime.
-Came in protective case and was well wrapped up in bubble wrap within the packet.

Cons: None

Other: A really good buy, well worth the money.
Much better than unblocking the phone, as it can be used again many times. It also doesn't affect the warranty of the phone.

Pros: Well priced considering on line unlocking charge.
Only takes seconds to install including cutting small hole (5mm x 5mm) for chip which i did using a marking knife.
Phone warranty not affected.
would re-purchase over and over again.

Cons: The material is very thin to allow both sims to fit into card slot however when handling the i-smart sim you get the feeling you are going to snap it, Would of thought in this day and age their would be a material that is the same thichness but much more sturdier.
