IBM X60 Compatible 2600mAh Replacement Battery for Thinkpad X60/X60S/X61/X61S Series

Pros: Nice battery!!! Works nice, holds charge for about 2 hours on my Lenovo X61 (Debian Squeeze Linux, with compiz enabled and wifi). Can't complain.

Cons: Construction not well done. The battery does not fit nicely as the original one, and the plastic body doesn't fell sturdy as the original one.

Other: For about 1/4 of the price of a brand new Lenovo one, I recommend!!!

Pros: Good thing about this is that it's at quite an OK price and with free shipping, it's also an added bonus. Could have liked it a little cheaper tho. But not having to go out to the shop is an added plus.  Shipping takes some time from HK, but I'm not in a hurry so that's ok.

Cons: The build quality is so-so, but I'm ok with that. One thing about this battery is that the charge retaining power is quite limited. Based on the laptop battery estimates, I can get max 2hrs from this laptop battery. This is in contrast to the prior one whih I bought (also from DX) is the 8cell which lasted like near 5-6hrs. But that died after close to 2years of use.

Other: Good buy. Resurrects my old laptop which is still in use after quite a number of years.
